The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2025 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Matt Blythe • Grove City • Senior attack • Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima
Blythe had a pair of hat tricks and seven total points in leading the Wolverines to a pair of PAC wins last week ... He scored three goals Wednesday night in a 17-5 victory over visiting Chatham and also picked up five ground balls in the win … Saturday, Blythe tallied three goals and an assist in a 25-4 win at Allegheny ... Two of Blythe's goals and his assist came in the opening quarter against Allegheny, as Grove City raced to a 9-0 lead after the first period in the rematch of the 2024 PAC Championship game.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Garrett Ritts • Saint Vincent • Junior goalie • Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights
Ritts went 2-0 in net for the Bearcats, making 11 saves while allowing just four goals over the course of Saint Vincent's wins against Allegheny and Bethany ... Ritts made nine saves and allowed just three goals while scooping two ground balls and causing one turnover in the Bearcats' victory at Allegheny to open the week Wednesday ... He recorded four stops in the first quarter and five total in the opening half, as SVC built a 5-0 lead going into halftime ... Ritts stopped two shots in one quarter of action in the win over Bethany.

PAC Specialist of the Week
Brady Beard • Saint Vincent • Senior faceoff specialist • Shepherdstown, W.Va./Spring Mills
Beard went 24-for-33 for the Bearcats in faceoffs over the course of their 2-0 week ... The senior also scooped up 15 ground balls during the week as well ... Beard went 10-for-16 in faceoffs, while picking up six ground balls in SVC's win at Allegheny to open the week ... He followed that up by going 14-for-17 with nine ground ball pickups in the Bearcats' blowout win against Bethany on Saturday.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Carson Smith • Franciscan • Freshman midfielder • St. John's, Fla./St. Jerome Institute
Smith had his best performance of his young career in Franciscan's 19-7 win over Thiel, as he scored three goals and added four assists for a seven-point day ... The Barons erased an early two-goal deficit by outscoring Thiel 8-1 in the second quarter, fueled by three goals and a pair of assists from Smith ... He added two more assists in the third period, as Franciscan's lead grew to 14-5 going into the final quarter ... In addition to his offensive work, Smith also gathered four ground balls in the win.

PAC Records & Milestones
Chatham's Cody Randal played a key role in a 13-12 win over Westminster, winning 19-of-27 faceoffs and gathering 11 ground balls ... Franciscan's Luke Reimer earned his first career win in goal after making five saves in a 19-7 win over Thiel ... Logan Millie scored a career-high seven goals in Thiel's matchup at W&J ... In their win over Thiel, W&J's Zach Mey earned his 100th career point with a four-goal performance, while Anthony DeLuca caused a career-high six turnovers ... The PAC leader with 43 goals this season, Westminster's Gavin Jones had five in a win over Bethany, his fifth game this season with five or more goals.
