PAC Offensive Player of the Week Gwen Shilling • Grove City • Sophomore attack • Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional Shilling fired in three goals and added three assists Saturday in Grove City's 13-2 win at Thiel in the regular season finale … She scored the first two goals of the game before recording all three assists in the third quarter, as the Wolverines' lead grew to 11-0 ... Shilling completed her day with the first goal in the fourth quarter ... Grove City concluded conference play with a 9-0 record after Saturday's victory. PAC Offensive Honor Roll Allegheny senior attack Ema Caragein (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle); Thiel senior attack Skylar Garlick (Fort Loudon, Pa./James Buchanan); W&J junior attack Brynne Stewart (Painesville, Ohio/Andrews Osborne Academy); Westminster junior attack Julia Ravazza (Twain Harte, Calif./Dublin) PAC Defensive Player of the Week Amelia Henderson • Allegheny • Junior defender • Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny Henderson led the Gators to a 2-0 week to earn the No. 6 seed in the PAC Tournament with wins over Geneva (22-1) and Bethany (23-10) …She helped the defense limit Geneva to just one goal while scoring twice with two caused turnovers and four ground balls and then held Bethany to just two second-half goals, as the Gators ran away from the Bison in the final 30 minutes … Henderson collected six ground balls with two caused turnovers in the regular-season finale. PAC Defensive Honor Roll Grove City senior goalie Elyse Kiggins (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley); Thiel senior goalie Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md./Catholic); W&J sophomore defender Sammy Hartz (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale); Westminster sophomore goalie Falyn Snyder (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) PAC Midfielder of the Week Lauren Petrarca • Allegheny • Senior • Simi Valley, Calif./Royal Petrarca led the Gators to a playoff spot with two important PAC wins over Geneva and Bethany …She led all Gators in points (16), goals (12), draw controls (29), and caused turnovers (11), was second in ground balls (nine), and tied for second in assists (four) ……Petrarca produced five points (3g-2a) with 11 draw controls, five ground balls, and three caused turnovers against Geneva and then tied the program record for goals with nine as part of a career-high 11-point performance against the Bison … She also set career-bests in draw controls (18) and caused turnovers (eight) to go with four ground balls … Her ninth goal on Saturday was the 200th of her career, making her only the third Gator to reach that milestone. She posted six points, along with four ground balls, in a 19-1 victory over Saint Vincent Tuesday night ... Hueber then delivered another six-point effort to help lift Chatham to a 17-12 win over Westminster and clinch the No. 3 seed for the PAC Tournament ... The Cougars' lead was 10-8 midway through the third quarter, but Hueber had two goals and two assists over the final quarter and a half, as Chatham pulled away from the Titans. The first save made by Thiel's Madison Liggett against Grove City Saturday was the 500th of her career ... With 15 points last week (10g/5a), Westminster's Julia Ravazza eclipsed 100 points this season with 53 goals and 51 assists ... Defending champion Grove City has earned the top seed and home field advantage through the 2025 PAC Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament ... The first of Tuesday's quarterfinals will start at 6 pm and pit fifth-seeded Thiel against fourth-seeded Westminster in New Wilmington, Pa., while the other quarterfinal will feature No. 3 Chatham hosting No. 6 Allegheny at 7 pm in Pittsburgh ... The semifinal round is slated for Thursday, with the winner of Westminster/Thiel traveling to Grove City while the second semifinal will have W&J hosting the winner of Chatham/Allegheny in Washington ... Saturday's championship game will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed following Thursday's semifinal games.
