TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Westminster College freshman Gianni DiSora (Pittsburgh, Pa., Upper St. Clair) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week as a returner for games played during Week 7 of the 2025 season.

DiSora’s standout moment came in the second quarter, when the freshman received a Thiel punt at his own 17-yard line, and returned it all 83 yards to the end zone for a touchdown. The punt return touchdown from DiSora is the second-longest by any player in Division III this season, with only nine other Division III players having completed the feat in the 2025 season.

With the help of DiSora, the Titans defeated Thiel in a homecoming victory, 48-6. Westminster rises to 4-2 overall, and 3-1 in league play.

This marks the first time in DiSora’s young career that he has been nominated to the D3football.com Team of the Week. He joins Brite Cannon (Parkland, Fla./Monarch) as the second Westminster returner, and third Titan player overall, to earn the distinction this season.
