TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Following the 2024 fall championships, Grove City College's men's and Allegheny College's women's athletic programs are in the lead in their respective Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophy races.

The all-sports trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 11 points, runner-up finishes are worth 10 points ... last place is worth one point.

Allegheny's women's programs scored 42 points through the fall, while the Grove City men's teams totaled 27.5 points to sit atop that leaderboard.

Men
Grove City's 27.5 points has them in first place by just half of a point. The Wolverines tied for the football championship to collect 10.5 points, placed second in men's soccer for 10 points and were fifth in cross country for six points.

Placing second following the fall was Geneva College with 27 points, while Washington & Jefferson College sits third with 24 and Franciscan University is fourth with 22. Geneva is right behind Grove City in the standings after the Golden Tornadoes were second in cross country, third in soccer and fourth in football. W&J came in third after the fall due to claiming a share of the football championship, as well as a fourth place in cross country, while PAC titles in cross country and soccer lifted Franciscan into fourth place.

Allegheny College ranks fifth with 18 points, followed by Westminster College in sixth place with 17 points, just a half-point in front of seventh-place Waynesburg University (16.5). Completing the men's rankings is Saint Vincent College in eighth (14), Chatham University in ninth (10) and Bethany College and Thiel College tied for 10th place (9).

Women
By winning PAC championships in tennis, cross country and volleyball, while also placing third in soccer, Allegheny surged to the front of the All-Sports Standings. The Gators' 42 points is the most scored by a program in the fall, surpassing the 39.5 totaled by Grove City in the 2023 fall season. This is also just the second time since 2001 that a PAC women's program won three or more fall titles since Grove City claimed crowns in all four fall sports in 2001 when the conference had five schools.

Allegheny's successful fall gives them a 6.5-point lead in the standings ahead of second-place Grove City. The Wolverines won the soccer championship while adding a runner-up finish in cross country and third place in tennis to finish with 35.5 points. Just one point back with 34.5 in third place is Saint Vincent after the Bearcats were second in volleyball, third in cross country and fourth in soccer and tennis. Westminster (27), the runner-up in soccer, and Franciscan (25.5), who was second in tennis, rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in the standings.

In sixth place after the fall is W&J with 23.5 points, while Chatham is seventh with 18 and Waynesburg is eighth with 17.5. They are followed by Geneva (14.5), Thiel (13.5) and Bethany (9.5).
