New PAC Fall Record as 897 Earn Academic Honor Roll Recognition

TRAFFORD, Pa. - For the fourth fall in a row, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) has set a new standard for student-athletes on the conference's Academic Honor Roll, with 897 being recognized for their academic achievements during the Fall 2024 semester.

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. 

Sports included in the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2024 semester are: men's cross country (MXC), women's cross country (WXC), football (FB), men's soccer (MSOC), women's soccer (WSOC), women's tennis (WTEN) and women's volleyball (WVB).

Topping the 11 full-time conference schools with 96 student-athletes collecting PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll laurels was Grove City College. Second on the list was Washington & Jefferson College with 87, followed by Saint Vincent College with 80, while Westminster College placed 76 on the honor roll. Allegheny College and Franciscan University were next with 72 and were followed by Geneva College (71), Thiel College (64), Waynesburg University (62), Bethany College (49) and Chatham University (46).

The PAC's two football affiliate members, Carnegie Mellon University and Case Western Reserve University, totaled 64 and 58, respectively.

The 897 student-athletes on this Fall's list surpasses the previous record of 862, set in the Fall of 2023.
