The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2024 season.
 
PAC Runner of the Week
Tim Patterson • Saint Vincent • Graduate Student • Butler, Pa./Butler
Patterson placed second overall at the Fr. Bede Invitational, hosted by Saint Francis University ... Patterson covered the 6-kilometer course in 19:07 to earn runner-up honors in the 64-runner field, which included 31 runners from Division I institutions ... He was one of three Saint Vincent runners to place in the top 20, as SVC finished third overall in the team standings.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Ethan Haring • Geneva • Freshman • Wexford, Pa./Eden Christian Academy
Haring finished in fourth place out of 72 total racers in the Westminster Fisher Invite this past Friday, helping Geneva claim first place out of six teams ... His time of 16:25.53 was the best time recorded by any freshman participating in the 5k race.

PAC Records & Milestones
Franciscan was led by Andrew Madigan's career-best finish at Westminster's Fisher Invitational, as he broke the tape in a time of 16:10.83 to finish first in the 72-runner field by more than 11 seconds ... Geneva junior Eli Eisenberger placed second overall (16:21:47) at the Westminster Fisher Invite, leading Geneva's men's cross country team to a first-place finish out of six teams ... W&J's Julian Paul paced the Presidents' top runners by taking first place with a time of 18:26.70 at W&J's Invitational, as he finished just milliseconds ahead of teammates Brock Pennington and Dominic Flitcraft.
