Week 2 PAC Honors (for events between September 2-8)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 2 of the 2024 season.
 

PAC Player of the Week

Carolina Walters • Saint Vincent • Junior • Latrobe, Pa./Homeschooled Walters went a combined 4-0 over her team's opening week of the fall campaign, winning two singles and two doubles matches ... On Thursday night at Carlow, Walters teamed with Isabella Lane to cruise to a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles, before winning a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles ... On Sunday afternoon at Penn State-Altoona, Walters and Lane earned a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles, before Walters claimed a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the top singles spot.

PAC Newcomer of the Week

Nicole Serna Cassan • Allegheny • Freshman • Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico/Grandview Preparatory-Fla. Cassan went 2-1 with two singles wins during Sunday's doubleheader against Division II Daemen and D-III Fredonia State ... She earned Allegheny's only point in the match against the D-II Wildcats with a tiebreak win at No. 4 singles, 5-7, 6-2, 11-9 and swept her No. 3 singles match against Fredonia State, 6-0, 6-0 ... Cassan's only loss was a No. 2 doubles loss against Daemen, which ended in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-3).

PAC Records & Milestones

Franciscan's Jordan Beltavski went undefeated on the week to help the Barons go 2-0 in non-conference play with wins against La Roche and Capital ... W&J's Nidhi Pulicherla and Paisley Cole won all four of their matches this week as W&J kicked off the 2024 season 2-0 ... Westminster's Emma Sukal, a First Team All-PAC pick in 2022 and 2023, returned after missing all of the 2023-24 season by going 2-0 in a Titan win over Division II Clarion.
