Record-High 929 Earn PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll Laurels

TRAFFORD, Pa. - It was another record-setting year for the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in the classroom, as 929 student-athletes earned PAC Academic Honor Roll distinction for the Spring 2024 semester, which set a new semester record, as well as a new yearly record for the conference.

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of championship competition. 

The 929 student-athletes on this Spring's list just surpasses the previous semester record of 921, which was set in the Spring of 2023. In addition, coupled with the 862 named to the Fall 2023 Academic Honor Roll, the conference recognized 1,791 student-athletes between the Fall and Spring semesters. That total eclipses the old record of 1,744 set in the 2022-23 academic year.

The 11 full-time league schools were led by Saint Vincent College with 113 student-athletes earning PAC Spring 2024 Academic Honor Roll recognition. Coming in a close second was Washington & Jefferson College with 111, while Grove City College placed 105 on the Honor Roll and Allegheny College had 100. Westminster College was next on the list with 97, followed by Chatham University with 83, Bethany College (72), Franciscan University (70), Thiel College (67), Waynesburg University (60) and Geneva College (51).

Sports included in the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2024 semester are: BASE (baseball); MBB (men’s basketball); MGLF (men’s golf); MITF (men’s indoor track and field); MLAX (men’s lacrosse); MOTF (men’s outdoor track and field); MSD (men’s swimming and diving); MTEN (men’s tennis); WBB (women’s basketball); WGLF (women’s golf); SOFT (softball); WITF (women’s indoor track and field); WLAX (women’s lacrosse); WOTF (women’s outdoor track and field); WRES (wrestling); WSD (women’s swimming and diving).
