PAC Sets New Fall Record with 862 on Academic Honor Roll 1/17/2024 12:30:00 PM TRAFFORD, Pa. - For the third consecutive fall, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) set a new record for student-athletes on the Conference's Academic Honor Roll, as 862 earned recognition for their efforts in the classroom in the Fall 2023 semester. The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. Sports included in the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2023 semester are: men's cross country (MXC), women's cross country (WXC), football (FB), men's soccer (MSOC), women's soccer (WSOC), women's tennis (WTEN) and women's volleyball (WVB). Leading the 11 full-time league schools was Grove City College with 104 student-athletes earning PAC Fall 2023 Academic Honor Roll accolades, which is a new record by one school on the Fall Honor Roll. Second on the list was Westminster College with 79, followed by Washington & Jefferson College with 73, while Geneva College had 69 on the honor roll. Allegheny College and Waynesburg University were next with 67 and were followed by Saint Vincent College (63), Thiel College (61), Franciscan University (57), Bethany College (52) and Chatham University (46). The PAC's two football affiliate members, Carnegie Mellon University and Case Western Reserve University, totaled 60 and 64, respectively. The 862 student-athletes on this Fall's list eclipses the previous record of 828, set in the Fall of 2022, which broke the previous standard of 705 achieved in the Fall of 2021.
