Week 3 PAC Honors (for games played Feb. 27-March 5)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 3 of the 2023 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Erin Goodwin • Chatham • Sophomore midfielder • Milford, Conn./Jonathan Law
Goodwin posted six points, including her first career hat trick, in Chatham’s 16-11 victory at Cal Lutheran … She assisted on the first goal of the game and scored twice in the second quarter … Goodwin added a goal and an assist in the third quarter and finished her six-point effort with a goal in the fourth quarter … In addition to her scoring, Goodwin added three draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Other notable performers from last week
Allegheny sophomore Lauren Patrarca (Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) compiled five goals and one assist in the victory over Fredonia … Franciscan graduate student Grace Deegan (Akron, Ohio/Stow) scored four goals and assisted on another in the 14-6 win over Muskingum … Grove City junior Madeline Dunda (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) had two goals in the OT victory over Medaille and posted a goal and assist against Drew on Sunday … W&J senior Amanda Effland (Frederick, Md./Frederick) registered hat tricks in both games last week for the Presidents, including three goals and two assists in Wednesday’s win over Marietta … Waynesburg senior Tori Meiklejohn (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) led a balanced Yellow Jacket attack in a win over La Roche with a hat trick and one assist for a four-point performance.
   
PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Anna Bradley • Waynesburg • Sophomore goalie • Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette
Bradley stopped 15-of-23 shots on goal during Waynesburg’s 12-8 win over La Roche last Thursday … She made six of those saves in the third period and two more in the fourth, allowing the Yellow Jackets to score eight times in the second half and pull away for the win … Bradley’s work in goal helped Waynesburg snap a 22-game losing streak.

Allegheny junior Sarah Thorman (Ellicott City, Md. | Centennial) stopped eight shots and held Fredonia to a season-low seven goals in the Gators’ 14-7 victory … Chatham junior Avery Redd (Indiana, Pa,/Indiana) scored a pair of goals in the win at Cal Lutheran … Franciscan senior Rose Kane (Brackney, Pa./Seton Catholic Central) tallied 11 saves in the 14-6 win over Muskingum … Grove City sophomore Sarah Jackson (Brookfield, Con../Brookfield) had four caused turnovers and seven ground balls, as well as two goals, in Tuesday’s OT victory over Medaille … W&J junior goalie Kaitlyn Brown (Charlotte Hill, Md./La Plata) made nine saves in the Marietta win and registered season-high 15 stops against unbeaten Kenyon … Westminster senior goalie Jaden Domaratz (Springdale, Pa./Springdale) made 16 saves and had four ground balls against Wooster.
 
PAC Midfielder of the Week
Senna Perelman • Allegheny • Senior midfielder • Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights
Perelman led all players with seven points in Allegheny’s 14-7 win over previously undefeated Fredonia … She totaled six goals, including two in the third and two in the fourth as well as assisting on a score in the third quarter, to help the Gators pull away for the win … Perelman had a strong all-around game, as she added five caused turnovers, four ground balls and four draw controls to her scoring production.

Bethany senior Cassidy Mailloux (Bell River, Ontario/Ecole Secoundaire Catholic L'Essor) scored two goals with one assist and had six ground balls in a loss to Marietta … Chatham junior Sam Beall-dennell (Sykesville, Md./Century) won six draw controls and had four ground balls to go with two goals and one assist in the win at Cal Lutheran … Franciscan junior Riley O’Brien (Altadena, Calif./St. Monica) finished with three goals and one assist in the win over Muskingum … Grove City senior Madison Nazigian (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) recorded three goals, four ground balls and nine draw controls in victory over Medaille … W&J senior Sarah Labovitz (Great Falls, Va./The Bullis School) tallied hat tricks in both games last week and totaled seven goals, two assists, 11 draw controls and seven caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Presidents.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Caleigh Bogats • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman midfielder • Oakdale, Pa./Chartiers Valley
Bogats tallied an eight-point week for the Presidents, who split a pair of matches … Bogats scored a team-high four goals in a 17-7 win over Marietta Wednesday … She then added two goals and two assists Saturday against Kenyon in a matchup of NCAA qualifiers from 2022 … Bogats, who scored on all six of her shots last week, also totaled four draw controls last week.

Allegheny freshman Amelia Henderson (Pittsburgh, Pa. | North Allegheny) caused three turnovers and scooped three ground balls in the win over Fredonia … Bethany freshman Jada Carter (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) scored a goal and had four draw controls in the game against Marietta … Chatham freshman Audrey Mason (Pittsburgh, Pa./Culver Girls Academies) made four saves in 30 minutes of action in goal in the win at Cal Lutheran … Grove City freshman Jackie Rowell (Laurel, Md./ Reservoir) had a goal and an assist in Medaille victory and scored in Sunday’s game with Drew … Waynesburg freshman Kerry Ryan (Timonium, Md./Mercy) scored a goal in her first game, helping the Yellow Jackets beat La Roche … Westminster freshman Emma Brazier (Northport, N.Y./Northport) finished with two goals in the Wooster match-up.
