Week 3 PAC Honors (for events between September 12-18)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 3 of the 2022 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Tania Davidson • Franciscan • Sophomore forward • Gilbert, Ariz. | Arete Preparatory Academy
Davidson scored twice in last Monday’s 5-0 victory over Hiram… It marked the Barons’ first-ever win against the Terriers… She also netted a pair of goals in Wednesday’s 3-0 victory over La Roche… Davidson finished Franciscan’s 2-1 week with eight points on four goals…She is tied for second in the PAC with seven goals and ranks third in points with 14.
Other notable performers from last week
Chatham graduate student Morgan Anderson (Pittsburgh, Pa. | North Allegheny) scored three times in a win over Mount Aloysius Wednesday night and in Saturday afternoon’s loss at Mount Union… She leads the PAC in both goals (8) and points (15) this season… Thiel senior Arlene Barreto (Covina, Calif. | Bishop Amat Memorial) scored in last Monday’s loss to La Roche… Waynesburg senior Sarah Rentler (Mount Lebanon, Pa. | Mount Lebanon) scored her first goal of the year in Saturday’s loss to Baldwin Wallace… Westminster senior Julia Redilla (Cranberry Township, Pa. | Seneca Valley) scored on a penalty kick in the eighth minute in Wednesday’s win at Wooster.
 
PAC Defensive Player, Goalkeeper of the Week
Corinne Grabow • Bethany • Senior goalkeeper • Morgantown, W.Va. | University
Grabow made a season-high 12 saves in Saturday afternoon’s scoreless draw with unbeaten Lycoming… It was her third shutout this fall… The Warriors were picked No. 3 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) preseason coaches’ poll and entered the match tied for No. 10 in Division III in shutout percentage (.833)... Grabow is second in the PAC in save percentage (.811) and fourth in goals-against average (1.167).

Allegheny junior Kari May (Erie, Pa. | McDowell) was 0-1-1 with 14 saves, a .778 save percentage and a 2.00 goals-against average last week… She made six saves to secure a draw against Penn State Behrend Saturday… Chatham graduate student Emily Martz (Bedford, Pa. | Bedford) had an assist in a loss at Mount Union Saturday… Franciscan junior Angela Postage (Canal Winchester, Ohio | Canal Winchester) led the defensive unit in a pair of shutouts last week… Franciscan did not allow a shot in the victory over Hiram last Monday… She had assists in wins over Hiram and La Roche… Grove City sophomore Courtney Lisman (Mars, Pa. | Mars) made 10 total saves in two matches on the road last week… Thiel junior Bailey Fritz (Mineral Ridge, Ohio | Austintown Fitch) scored goals in Wednesday’s loss at John Carroll and Saturday’s win at Defiance… Waynesburg senior Autumn Blair (Penn Hills, Pa. | Penn Hills) totaled 20 saves and registered an .800 save percentage in a pair of matches last week.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Morgan Murphy • Westminster • First-year goalkeeper • Yardley, Pa. | Villa Joseph Marie 
Murphy made eight saves in Westminster’s 1-0 win at Wooster Wednesday afternoon… It was her second shutout of the year… Murphy posted eight saves in a 1-0 loss at Heidelberg Saturday… She finished Westminster’s 1-1 week with a .50 goals-against average and a save percentage of .941… Murphy, 4-2-1 this season, leads the PAC in goals-against average (.77) and save percentage (.868).

Chatham first-year Ainsley Smith (Washington, Pa. | Bishop Canevin) scored in Saturday’s loss at Mount Union and had an assist in Wednesday’s win over Mount Aloysius… It was her third goal this season… Franciscan freshman Corinne Sanborn (Spokane, Wash. | Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame) finished the week with a goal and two assists… Geneva freshman Maci Shaffer (Columbiana, Ohio | Crestview) scored a first half hat trick and added an assist in the second half of Saturday’s win over Penn State Beaver… Grove City freshman Karly Keller (New Kensington, Pa. | Kiski) started both matches last week… Thiel freshman Tessa Allison (Akron, Ohio | Field) scored a goal in Saturday’s win at Defiance and recorded an assist in last Monday’s loss to La Roche… W&J freshman Selah Calacan (Waldorf, Md. | North Point) tallied her first collegiate goal, which proved to be  the eventual game winner, in Wednesday’s victory over Marietta.
