Week 7 PAC Honors (for games played April 4-10)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 7 of the 2022 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Joey Smith • Saint Vincent • Senior Attack • Kent Island, Md. | The Gunston School
Smith totaled 29 points during Saint Vincent’s 3-0 week, finishing with 13 goals and 16 assists… In Monday's 19-2 win at Waynesburg, she recorded eight points on three goals and five assists to go along with a team-high six ground balls… Two days later, in a 22-5 non-conference triumph over Muskingum, Smith erupted for 11 points on five goals and six assists… She then closed the week out with a 10-point day in Saturday’s 19-15 win over Westminster… Smith recorded five goals with five helpers… Her 13 goals last week came on just 17 shots on goal… Through 13 games, Smith leads the PAC in both points (89) and assists (48), while her 41 goals are second most in the league.

Bethany senior Rikiah Wise (Upper Marlboro, Md. | Bishop McNamara) had two goals and an assist Tuesday at Chatham… Chatham sophomore Stephanie Walter (Leesburg, Va. | Riverside) had eight points (6G, 2A) against Bethany Tuesday… Franciscan graduate student Annie King (Westerville, Ohio | St. Francis DeSales) had eight goals last week… She scored six goals Tuesday at Grove City… Senior Brooke Stolzfus (Elverson, Pa. | Conestoga Christian) scored 12 total goals and added three assists in a 2-1 week for Grove City… She also recorded 13 combined ground balls… Stolzfus had five goals, two assists and six ground balls in Tuesday night’s overtime win against Franciscan… Thiel senior Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md. | Western) scored seven goals and added an assist last week… She had five points (4G, 1A) Saturday against Franciscan… Waynesburg junior Eve O’Sullivan (Latrobe, Pa. | Greater Latrobe) had five points (3G, 2A) last week… Westminster senior Magen Polczynski (Irwin, Pa. | Norwin) had five goals and an assist Saturday at Saint Vincent. 
   
PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Kyra Lipetzky • Saint Vincent • Sophomore goalkeeper • Mount Airy, Md. | Urbana
Lipetzky finished Saint Vincent’s 3-0 week with a .511 save percentage and a 7.33 goals-against average while totaling 23 saves (7.67/g) and six ground balls... She posted eight saves and one ground ball in Monday’s 19-2 win at Waynesburg… In Tuesday’s 22-5 win over Muskingum, Lipetzky had seven saves and three ground balls… She registered eight saves and a pair of ground balls in Saturday’s 19-15 win over Westminster… Lipetzky is fifth in the league in goals-against average (76, 8.94/g), sixth in save percentage (.433) and eighth in saves per game (58, 6.44/g).

Chatham junior Aria Dietrich (Upper St. Clair, Pa. | Upper St. Clair) finished with 16 saves Tuesday against Bethany… Grove City freshman Emily Arnold (Ijamsville, Md. | Urbana) had eight ground balls and four draw controls Tuesday against Franciscan, then had three caused turnovers at Waynesburg Thursday… Thiel sophomore Madison Liggett (Baltimore, Md. | Catholic) made 15 saves and totaled 10 ground balls last week… Against W&J Saturday she had eight saves and seven ground balls… W&J sophomore Kaitlyn Brown (Charlotte Hall, Md. | LaPlata) made eight saves Wednesday at Thiel… The six goals were the second fewest surrendered by Brown this season… Westminster senior Katie Cipriani (Hermitage, Pa. | Kennedy Catholic) made eight saves at Saint Vincent Saturday… It was her first career game playing in goal. 
 
PAC Midfielder of the Week
Hannah-Marie Starner • Saint Vincent • Sophomore midfielder • Dillsburg, Pa. | Northern York
Starner totaled eight points (6G, 2A), six ground balls and 30 draw controls in three PAC victories last week… In Monday's 17-5 win at Waynesburg, she scored once while adding a ground ball and eight draw controls… In Wednesday’s 22-5 win over Muskingum, Starner finished with two goals, one assist, two ground balls and six draw controls… She closed the week out by tying a career high with three goals while adding one assist, three ground balls and a career-high 16 draw controls in a 19-15 win over Westminster… The 16 draw controls are the most by a PAC player in a game this season… Starner leads the PAC in draw controls (101, 7.77/g).

Bethany senior Cassidy Mailloux (Belle River, Ontario | Ecole Secoundaire Catholic L'Essor) totaled two goals, five ground balls and five draw controls Saturday at Chatham… Chatham junior Bailey Donofrio (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Chartiers Valley) had one goal, five ground balls, eight draw controls and a caused turnover against Bethany Saturday… Franciscan senior Grace Deegan (Akron, Ohio | Stow) finished the week with five goals, one assist, four ground balls, 14 draw controls and three caused turnovers… She had one goal, one assist, eight draw controls, four ground balls and a caused turnover Tuesday at Grove City… Grove City junior Madison Nazigian (Forest, Va. | Jefferson Forest) had six total goals, two assists, 10 ground balls and 26 total draw controls last week… She had two goals, including the OT game-winner, against Franciscan Tuesday night… She also had 11 draw controls against Franciscan… Thiel sophomore Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Shaler) finished the week with five goals, 10 ground balls, 10 draw controls and four caused turnovers… Saturday against Franciscan she scored three goals and had two ground balls, eight draw controls and two caused turnovers… Westminster junior Stephanie Cimini (Mars, Pa. | Mars) had a season-high six goals Saturday at Saint Vincent… She added four ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers. 
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Abby Roetering • Grove City • Freshman attack • Glenelg, Md. | Glenelg
Roetering posted five goals and an assist while also causing 11 total turnovers and picking up 13 ground balls in a 2-1 week for Grove City… She had five ground balls and five caused turnovers Saturday in a 13-6 loss to Allegheny… Roetering opened the week with two goals and three caused turnovers in Tuesday’s 15-14 overtime win against Franciscan, then had three goals, an assist, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in Thursday’s 19-3 win at Waynesburg… In 12 games (12 starts) this season, Roetering has 22 points (16G, 6A), 33 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers.

Franciscan freshman Rose Kane (Binghamton, N.Y. | Seton Catholic Central) totaled 19 saves last week… She posted 12 saves Saturday at Thiel… Thiel freshman Camy Seman (Conneautville, Pa. | Conneaut) recorded an assist, five ground balls, three caused turnovers and a draw control last week… Waynesburg freshman Anna Bradley (Bridgeville, Pa. | South Fayette) totaled 36 saves and 21 ground balls last week… Westminster first-year Amber Cepec (Freeport, Pa. | Freeport) finished with a pair of ground balls Saturday at Saint Vincent.
