Week 4 PAC Honors (for games played between September 20-26)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 4 of the 2021 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Joey Koroly • Washington & Jefferson • Junior running back • Washington, Pa. | Trinity
Koroly finished with 167 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns Saturday night in the Presidents’ 37-14 victory at Case Western Reserve… He rushed 25 times for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding four catches for 53 yards and a score… Koroly found the end zone on a 35-yard pass from junior Justin Heacock (New Concord, Ohio | John Glenn) in the second quarter to break a 7-7 deadlock… In the fourth quarter he scored on rushes of one yard and 17 yards, respectively… Koroly’s six touchdowns rank No. 2 in the PAC this season… His 341 rushing yards rank third in the league.

Bethany sophomore Brennan Secrist (Weirton, W.Va. | Madonna) had six catches for 121 yards and a touchdown against Geneva… Grove City senior Cody Gustafson (Shippensburg, Pa. | Shippensburg) caught 13 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns at Westminster… Saint Vincent sophomore Molayo Irefin (Bowie, Md. | Archbishop Spalding) accounted for 135 yards (108 rec., 27 rush) and a pair of touchdowns at Thiel… Westminster senior Cole Konieczka (Coraopolis, Pa. | Moon) completed 20-of-33 passes for 267 yard and three touchdowns against Grove City.
 
PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Logan Young • Carnegie Mellon • Sophomore linebacker • Moon Township, Pa. | Moon
Young totaled five tackles (3 solo) and a sack, forced and recovered a fumble and returned an interception 47 yards for a touchdown in Saturday afternoon’s 39-3 win over Waynesburg in Pittsburgh… The CMU defense limited the Yellow Jackets to 194 yards of total offense while forcing five turnovers… Young forced and recovered a Waynesburg fumble on the second half’s opening kickoff, leading to a CMU field goal that extended the Tartans’ lead to 23-3.

Bethany junior Jordan Aldridge (Wheeling, W.Va. | Wheeling Park) finished with 10 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery against Geneva… Case Western Reserve first-year Nate Cikalo (Avon Lake, Ohio | Avon Lake) had 12 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss against W&J… Geneva sophomore James Clark (Fairfax, Va. | Wakefield) intercepted a pair of passes and made two tackles at Bethany… Grove City senior Parker Kilgore (Glenshaw, Pa. | Shaler) made 13 tackles and added a 27-yard interception returned for a touchdown to open the scoring at Westminster... Thiel senior Ryan Stiles (Anchorage, Alaska | Service) had six tackles and a sack against Saint Vincent… W&J junior Drew Ehrlich (Annapolis, Md. | Gilman School) made seven tackles at CWRU… Waynesburg junior Jonathan Ruffing (Bentleyville, Pa. | Bishop Canevin) logged six tackles and 1.5 sacks at CMU… Westminster senior Brayden Thimons (Natrona Heights, Pa. | Highlands) recorded nine tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack against Grove City… He also scored his first collegiate touchdown on a one-yard rush in the third quarter.
 
PAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Sean Disbrow • Washington & Jefferson • Sophomore kicker • Sykesville, Md. | Liberty
Disbrow was 4-for-4 on extra-point tries and drilled a career-best 34-yard field goal in Saturday night’s 37-14 victory over Case Western Reserve in Cleveland… With 6:43 remaining in the third quarter, he hit the field goal to extend the Presidents’ lead to 24-14.
Other notable performers from last week
Carnegie Mellon junior Casey Jaeb (San Jose, Calif. | Bellarmine Prep.) averaged 40.3 yards per punt against Waynesburg… He dropped all four kicks inside the Jackets’ 20-yard line… He had a career-best 60-yard punt in the second quarter… Geneva sophomore Jalen Collier (Sebastian, Fla. | Sebastian River) returned a blocked punt 12 yards for a touchdown at Bethany… He added five tackles in the win.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Joanes Polynice • Saint Vincent • Freshman linebacker • Winter Garden, Fla. | West Orange    
Polynice recorded a game-high 12 tackles (8 solo) and 1.5 tackles for loss in Saturday night’s 41-7 PAC win at Thiel… The Bearcats yielded just 191 yards of offense and forced a pair of Tomcat turnovers.

Bethany sophomore Aarin Burton (Slaughter Neck, Del. | Cape Henlopen) made nine tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss against Geneva… Geneva freshman Jaeden Zuzak (Coal Center, Pa. | California) totaled 14 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown at Bethany… Grove City freshman Niko Flati (Aliquippa, Pa. | West Allegheny) rushed for 66 yards on 22 carries at Westminster… Thiel freshman Deon Logan (Richmond, Va. | James River) ran for 43 yards on 15 carries against Saint Vincent… Waynesburg freshman JaVionne Smith (Warren, Ohio | Sharon, Pa.) totaled eight tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack while forcing and recovering a fumble at CMU… Westminster first-year Kevin Wright (West Palm Beach, Fla. | Seminole Ridge) recorded five tackles against Grove City, sealing the victory with his first career interception with just over a minute remaining in the game.
