GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The men’s athletic program at Grove City College and women’s athletic program at Westminster College captured their respective Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophies for the 2020-21 academic year.

The all-sports trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 10 points, runner-up finishes are worth nine points ... last place is worth one point.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the PAC contested 20 of its 23 championship sports during the spring semester. 

The all-sports trophy is the first for the Grove City men since 2009-10. Grove City won conference titles in swimming and diving, lacrosse and tennis to help secure the 2020-21 trophy. The Wolverines combined for 83 points in the league’s 10 championship sports.

Westminster was second with 78.5 points while Washington & Jefferson College finished third (75.5). Westminster posted three PAC titles last year while W&J claimed a pair of league championships.

Saint Vincent College was fourth (61) and was followed by Geneva College in fifth (48), Franciscan University in sixth (43), Waynesburg University in seventh (33.5), Chatham University in eighth (31), Thiel College in ninth (28.5) and Bethany College in 10th (26). 

The Westminster women totaled 82 points in the league's 10 championship sports to claim its 11th all-sports trophy, and fourth straight, with PAC titles in volleyball, golf and outdoor track and field. 

Grove City finished as the runner-up with 69.5 points and was followed by W&J in third (60.5). Grove City and W&J each earned one PAC title last year.

Geneva was fourth (56), Franciscan was fifth (53.5), Saint Vincent was sixth (49.5), Chatham was seventh (46.5), Waynesburg was eighth (40), Bethany was ninth (39) and Thiel was 10th (35.5).
