GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org)--The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2020-21 All-PAC Women’s Basketball teams and yearly award winners Wednesday.

The all-conference teams, as well as the PAC's yearly award winners, are determined, by vote, of the league’s 10 head coaches.

Washington & Jefferson College senior forward Alie Seto (Allison, Pa. | Brownsville) was voted the PAC Player of the Year while Saint Vincent College senior guard Carlee Kilgus (Bridgeville, Pa. | South Fayette) was recognized as the PAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Bethany College freshman guard Makenzee Mason (Lithopolis, Ohio | Bloom-Carroll) collected the PAC Newcomer of the Year award and Saint Vincent 11th-year head coach Jimmy Petruska was honored as the PAC Coach of the Year.

Seto's selection as player of the year marks the 12th time a W&J player has earned the league's top award. She is the program's first PAC Player of the Year since Kennan Killeen in 2009-10. Overall, eight W&J players have claimed the award.

Seto ranked fourth in the PAC in scoring, averaging 16.7 points per game. She was fourth in steals (2.7/game), fourth in field goal percentage (.495), fourth in free throw percentage (.745), fifth in blocked shots (1.2/game) and eighth in rebounding, averaging 8.3 per game.

Seto becomes a three-time All-PAC selection after earning Second Team laurels following her sophomore and junior seasons. She earned PAC All-Tournament Team status as a junior and senior. Seto finishes her W&J career with 1,189 points (tied for 11th with Killeen), 676 rebounds (10th) and 82 blocks (tied for 5th).

Kilgus is Saint Vincent's first-ever defensive player of the year award winner. Her 31.0 minutes per game average ranked sixth in the league while her 2.0 steals per game ranked ninth. She also averaged 11.8 points per game, ranked second in the PAC in assists (4.8/game) and third in field goal percentage (.511). Kilgus earned a spot on the PAC All-Tournament Team this season.

Kilgus proved to be a key piece to a Saint Vincent defense that limited opposition to a .329 field goal percentage and a 60.6 points per game average this season.

Mason is Bethany's second newcomer of the year award winner (Kelsea Daugherty, 2014-15). She appeared in all 11 games for the Bison, making starts in 10 while averaging 30.3 minutes per game. Mason finished sixth in the PAC in scoring, averaging 15.4 points per game, and posted a PAC-best .850 free throw percentage. Her 3.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game both ranked as eighth-best in the league. Mason scored 20-plus points twice this season, including a game-high 26 in No. 7 Bethany's 66-62 quarterfinal loss at No. 2 W&J on March 15.

The coach of the year citation is Petruska's second (2014-15). Saint Vincent claimed its second PAC title (2018-19) with a 65-61 victory over No. 2 W&J in the PAC Championship Tournament title game March 20. Petruska collected his 200th career victory March 15. He ranked No. 28 in career winning percentage (.711) among active Division III coaches entering the 2020-21 season.
