PAC Baseball Hitter of the Week
Trent Smith • Sophomore • Thiel College
First Baseman • Franklin, Pa. / Franklin

Smith’s bat helped the Tomcats post a 4-1 record against PAC opposition last week. The Franklin, Pa. native went 13-for-20 (.650) with a home run, five runs scored and six runs driven in. He registered at least one hit in each of Thiel’s five games, including four games with at least two hits. He capped off the week with a four-for-five effort in Thiel’s series-clinching 10-6 win over Saint Vincent on Sunday. Smith is currently leading the PAC in hitting (.446) and hits (37).

PAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Edmiston earned his first victory of the season in Bethany’s 15-0 victory over Grove City on April 9. The junior tossed six scoreless innings, allowing only four hits while striking out nine.
