Bellhy helped W&J begin conference play 2-0 by averaging 24.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in road wins at Westminster and Thiel last week. He connected on 47 percent of his shots (14-of-30) in the two league wins, including a 56 percent shooting day in Wednesday’s 83-79 victory against the Titans. His 32 points against Westminster marked the third 30-plus point effort of his career, converting on 10-of-18 attempts from the field and adding 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Bellhy totaled 16 points and eight rebounds in Saturday’s 64-60 win against the Tomcats, his sixth scoring performance in double figures through the Presidents’ first seven games of the season. |
