PAC Football Players of the Week (November 18, 2013)

PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Anthony Ritchie • Senior Wide Receiver • Grove City College
Big Rock, Ill. / Wheaton Academy

Ritchie ran for a touchdown, threw a touchdown pass and caught two touchdown scores in Grove City’s 50-44 overtime win at Thiel Saturday. His 16-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter gave Grove City a 14-7 lead. He then caught two touchdown passes in the second quarter, giving him a share of the College’s career touchdown reception mark with 17. Ritchie’s 22-yard touchdown run on an end around put the Wolverines up 44-37 in the fourth quarter.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Sam Comly • Senior Cornerback • Washington & Jefferson College
Littlestown, Pa. / Delone Catholic

Comly had the best game of his career in Saturday’s 38-13 Senior Day victory over Waynesburg. He totaled a team-high nine tackles, four pass break-ups and two interceptions. Comly had two of the Presidents’ three interceptions off of Waynesburg’s Carter Hill, who had only thrown two all season. Both of his interceptions came in the fourth quarter, stopping any Yellow Jacket comeback attempt.

PAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Justin Dahl • Freshman Placekicker • Westminster College
Cochranton, Pa. / Maplewood

Dahl was a perfect 3-for-3 in field goals attempted in Saturday’s 30-27 victory over Geneva. He drilled a 19-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 21-yard field goal in the second, but it was his career-long 42-yarder hit with time expiring that lifted the Titans to victory. Dahl also finished the day 3-for-3 in PAT attempts.
