I. GENERAL
1. The PAC sports information director (SID) shall be responsible for publicizing the conference to the media and informing member institutions as to the latest news, results, standings and statistics through a weekly report and comprehensive web site, which provides daily updates and information on all 19 championship-sponsored sports.
2. The PAC SID shall be available to answer questions pertaining to the conference from the media or other schools.
3. The PAC SID shall be present at each Athletic Directors' Association Meeting to record the minutes and subsequently provide each association member with a copy.
4. When possible, the PAC SID shall attend All-Conference meetings to determined All-PAC Teams.
5. The PAC SID shall design and distribute Player of the Week certificates during the academic year and furnish Academic Honor Roll certificates and the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters.
6. The PAC SID shall assist other member sports information offices whenever necessary.

II. SUMMER CALENDAR
1. Revise the Athletic Directors' Regulations of the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
2. Maintain the PAC web site.
3. Order additional PAC sports information office letterhead and envelopes (if necessary).

III. FALL CALENDAR
1. Publicize each of the PAC's seven fall sports through a weekly report. This report shall include statistics in football, men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. It shall also include player of the week nominations and miscellaneous league information from all seven fall sports.
2. Each member SID shall be mailed the official reporting forms to be used during the fall season. These forms must be e-mailed to the PAC sports information office at or before the designated deadline in order to be included in the weekly report. Any late forms may not be included in the weekly report. A member SID may choose to give his/her information by phone as long as the PAC SID is notified in advance of the regular weekly deadline.
3. Update men's and women's All-Sports Trophy Standings.

IV. WINTER CALENDAR
1. Publicize each of the PAC's five winter sports through a weekly report. This report shall include statistics in men's basketball and women's basketball. It shall also include player of the week nominations and miscellaneous league information from all five winter sports.
2. Each member SID shall be mailed the official reporting forms to be used during the winter season. These forms must be e-mailed to the PAC sports information office at or before the designated deadline in order to be included in the weekly report. Any late forms may not be included in the weekly report. A member SID may choose to give his/her information by phone as long as the PAC SID is notified in advance of the regular weekly deadline.

V. SPRING CALENDAR
1. Publicize each of the PAC's seven spring sports through a weekly report. This report shall include statistics in baseball and softball. It shall also include player of the week nominations and miscellaneous league information from all seven spring sports.
2. Each member SID shall be mailed the official reporting forms to be used during the spring season. These forms must be e-mailed to the PAC office at or before the designated deadline in order to be included in the weekly report. Any late forms may not be included in the weekly report. A member SID may choose to give his/her information by phone as long as the PAC SID is notified in advance of the regular weekly deadline.
3. Update the men's and women's All-Sports Trophy standings and announce the winners at the conclusion of the spring sports season.

VI. CHAMPIONSHIPS
1. The sports information director or information representative of the institution hosting the PAC championship even in the following sports is responsible for a championship program: men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's track & field, wrestling, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's golf. This program should, at the very least, include the roster of each participating team.
2. The PAC sports information office will assist with the program upon the request of the host sports information director or representative.
3. At the conclusion of the championship event, the host sports information director or information representative must contract the PAC sports information office with the official results.
4. The PAC SID shall be responsible for releasing championship information to the media (provided the results have been furnished by the host SID).
5. The PAC SID shall include official championship results in the weekly report.

VII. MEMBER SID RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Each member institution shall have a sports information contact (referred to as SID in the rest of this section) that can competently fulfill the profession's minimum responsibilities.
2. For each sport, the SID shall produce a schedule and roster that includes name, class, position, hometown, and high school. All schedules and rosters shall be sent to the PAC office, and be readily available if requested by members of the media and/or other SIDs.
3.Each SID shall maintain accurate and timely statistics (usually updated no later than the day after a contest). Updated statistics should always be available for release to media and other institutions.
4. The SID shall adhere to the deadlines set by the PAC office. The league's most common deadline is the weekly reporting deadline. Each SID is responsible for completing all of the PAC's weekly reporting forms and faxing them to the PAC office no later than noon each Monday. Late forms may be excluded from the PAC's weekly report and NCAA statistical rankings.
5. The SID shall meet deadlines set by other member SIDs. Each SID shall be aware of requests from SIDs within the conference (and all SIDs for that matter) and make every possible effort to fill each request in a timely manner.
6. The SID shall provide the following when hosting football, men's basketball, and women's basketball contests:
a. Space for the opponent SID to work comfortably.
b. Access to a telephone and fax machine before, during, and after the game.
c. Complete and accurate statistics (usually no later than 45 minutes after a football game, 30 minutes after a basketball game).
1. The football stat package shall include at least a scoring summary, team statistics, individual statistics, and a play-by-play (typed if possible). Defensive statistics and a drive chart are also recommended.
2. For men's and women's basketball games, a copy of the half-time and final box scores should be provided. All box scores should include "minutes played".
7. In other sports, the host SID should, when asked, make every possible effort to provide opposing schools with pertinent information (i.e., final scores, goal scorers, race results, etc.).
8. When hosting the PAC's cross country, swimming, track & field, wrestling, tennis, and golf championships, the SID shall produce a championship program that includes, at the very least, a roster of each participating team. He or she will also be responsible for faxing results to the league office as soon as they become available.
9. Each SID shall maintain a professional working environment in the press box and at press row. Specifically, host statisticians should never show bias toward any team.
10. The SID shall help promote the conference through his or her athletic publications and releases where possible.
11. Each SID shall make the PAC office aware of any member SID who fails to meet any one of the minimum responsibilities stated above.
