Week 3 PAC Honors (for events between Sept. 14-20)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 3 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Andy Kavcic • Case Western Reserve • Junior running back • Kirtland, Ohio/Gilmour Academy
Kavcic broke a 27-year old program record for rushing yards in a game, helping to lead the Spartans past Shenandoah 48-41 ... Kavcic carried the ball 30 times for a program-record 256 yards, averaging 8.5 yards per carry and running for a pair of long touchdowns, while also catching four passes for 12 yards ... He extended the Spartans’ lead to 20-0 with a 47-yard touchdown run with 2:28 left in the first quarter, and then added a season-long 53-yard run for a score to put CWRU in front 34-20 with 3:29 to play in the half ... Kavcic also helped CWRU run out the clock at the end of the game, carrying the ball on nine consecutive plays for 43 yards on the team’s final drive, and breaking the program record on his final carry of the contest ... The 256 yards are the second-most by a player in Division III in a game this season.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Coltin Colucci • Allegheny • Fifth-year senior linebacker • Brewster, Ohio/Fairless
Colucci helped Allegheny improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2009 with a 38-20 win versus Waynesburg after he finished with five total tackles, a fumble recovery, and an interception return for a touchdown … He recovered a strip-sack fumble early in the second quarter to halt a Waynesburg drive in Allegheny territory … Colucci picked off a Waynesburg aerial and returned it 37 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter to give the Gators their first lead of the night … It was one of two pick-sixes for Allegheny's defense, which held the Yellow Jackets to minus-four yards rushing and only 95 yards of total offense.

PAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Beau Wolf • Case Western Reserve • Senior wide receiver • Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley
Wolf returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown, setting an early tone in the Spartans’ 48-41 win over Shenandoah at DiSanto Field Saturday ... On a designed play to start the game, Wolf received a cross-field lateral pass from Jake Kavcic at the 11-yard line and proceeded to take it the distance to give CWRU the early lead in the game ... It was his second career kick return for a touchdown and Wolf also caught five passes for 87 yards (both team highs), including a 37-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Luis Fuentes • Bethany • Freshman kicker • Amarillo, Texas/Palo Duro
Fuentes went a perfect 7-for-7 on PATs and added a 20-yard field goal in his first collegiate start to help Bethany beat Thiel 52-3 ... His 20-yard field goal came in the second quarter to extend the Bison lead to 17-0.

PAC Records & Milestones
Allegheny's Cortlon Campbell recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown on an errant punt long snap, which was part of a 21-point fourth quarter that allowed Allegheny to overcome a 20-17 deficit and defeat Waynesburg 38-20 ... Brett Phillips totaled over 400 yards of offense once again for Bethany after throwing for 388 yards and one touchdown and rushing for 46 yards and another score in the Bison's 52-3 Homecoming win over Thiel ... Case Western Reserve's Zach Yordy returned an INT 35 yards for a touchdown and finished with five tackles, leading a CWRU defensive effort that held Shenandoah to just 42 rushing yards in a 48-41 victory ... Thiel's Deangelo Baker totaled eight tackles, including a career-best three TFLs at Bethany Saturday ... Waynesburg's Joanes Polynice scored his second defensive TD in as many games when he picked off a pass and ran it back 35 yards for a touchdown against Allegheny and the senior linebacker added a team-high six tackles and a sack.
