Rankin earned medalist at Westminster's season-opening home invitational Saturday, held at the Avalon Field Club in New Castle, Pa. ... She posted an 80 through the opening 18 holes to tie Grove City's Lauren Kardos and force a playoff ... On the second playoff hole, Rankin shot a par on the par-4, No. 9 to claim medalist honors ... She finished the round with one birdie and 10 pars, including one on both playoff holes, and helped the Titans shoot 357 as a team to finish first out of six teams..
