Gronbeck and Pirt were part of a three-way tie second place in an 89-man field at the season-opening Westminster Invitational Monday afternoon, held at the Avalon Field Club in New Castle, Pa. ... Both finished with rounds of two-over, 74, two shots back of the top spot ... Gronbeck posted three birdies and 11 pars in his round, while Pirt had three birdies and 10 pars on his way to the 74.

In his first college tournament, Brown finished in a tie for second place at the season-opening Westminster Invitational Monday ... With three birdies and 10 pars on the afternoon, he scored a two-over, 74 to tie for runner-up with two other golfers ... His score immediately puts him in the Geneva record books, where he is now tied for the eighth-best round in program history.
