WASHINGTON, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – For the first time since the 2017 season, the Washington & Jefferson College baseball team will host an NCAA Division III Regional at Ross Memorial Park.

The Presidents were announced as one of the 16 regional hosts for the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament, whose bracket was revealed on Monday afternoon.

Joining the Presidents (32-11) at the four-team regional will be Bridgewater College (33-13) from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, the University of Chicago (27-13) from the University Athletic Association and the University of Scranton (28-15) from the Landmark Conference.

Bridgewater will battle Scranton on Friday in the first game at 11:00 a.m. Later in the afternoon, UChicago takes on W&J at 2:30 p.m. The rest of the double-elimination tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

W&J claimed its 17th conference title in program history with an 11-2 victory over Grove City in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) title round this past Saturday. The Presidents will be appearing in the NCAA Tournament for the 12th time overall. 

Bridgewater received an at-large bid to the tournament after falling in the ODAC Tournament. The Eagles will be making their first NCAA appearance since 2014.

Scranton returns to the NCAA Tournament for a second time in the past three seasons and the third time in program history after claiming the Landmark Conference's automatic bid with a 4-2 win over Elizabethtown College on Saturday.

UChicago will enter the NCAA Tournament after recording a program-best 27 wins. The Maroons claimed their first UAA title in program history after posting a 15-5 conference mark. The Maroons will be making their second-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament. They reached the regional finals a season ago before being eliminated by Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  

The NCAA Division III double-elimination regional tournament runs from Friday to Sunday. The 16 regional champions from this weekend qualify for eight best-of-three Super Regionals on May 22-23. 

Tickets will be available for purchase through Hometown Ticketing starting Tuesday (May 12) at 12:00 p.m. Advance purchases are strong encouraged.

Regional Tournament Pass: Adult - $35 / Student - $20 / 6 & Under Are Free
