PAC Tiebreaker Criteria
1) Head-to-Head competition between the tied teams (PAC contests only).
2) Combined won-loss record against all teams above the tie.
3) Goal differential between tied teams with a maximum of a 10-goal difference.
4) Coin toss.

When three or more teams are tied, the same procedure shall be followed until any team emerges or is eliminated by the process. If three or more results are arrived at any step, and no ties remain, then teams shall be seeded according to their results.

Games remaining
Sat., 4/25: Westminster at Chatham; Allegheny at Bethany; Thiel at Grove City; Hiram at Geneva

*Grove City (8-0) has clinched the top seed and home field advantage throughout the 2026 PAC Championship Tournament, regardless of the outcome of their game against Thiel Saturday. Even if GCC loses to Thiel and Chatham defeats Westminster to both finish at 8-1, Grove City wins the HTH tiebreaker over Chatham.

*Chatham (7-1) will clinch the #2 seed and a first round bye and home semifinal contest with a win over Westminster (6-2). In this scenario, Washington & Jefferson (season complete at 7-2) is the #3 seed and Westminster is the #4 seed. If Westminster defeats Chatham, both teams along W&J finish in a three-way tie for second place. The teams split HTH (combined 1-1 each) and all lost to #1 Grove City, so we move to goal differential between tied teams with a maximum of a 10-goal difference. W&J is +5 (lost 13-10 to CHA, defeated WES 16-8) – since Chatham is currently +3 and Westminster is -8 and the max # of goals is 10, the highest Westminster could possibly get is +2, so W&J would be the #2 seed regardless of the WES-CHA final score. If Westminster defeats Chatham by 1-5 goals, Chatham is the #3 seed. If Westminster defeats Chatham by 6 or more goals, Westminster is the #3 seed.

*Saint Vincent (4-5 – season complete) have clinched a tournament berth and could be either the #5 or #6 seed (see below), depending on the outcome of the Allegheny-Bethany game.

*Two teams – Allegheny (4-4) and Bethany (3-5) – remain eligible for the final berth in the PAC Tournament. Here is the path forward to the tournament for both teams:

Allegheny will clinch the #5 seed with a win over Bethany, clinching the #6 seed for Saint Vincent.

Bethany, with a win over Allegheny, puts all three teams in a three-way tie for fifth place at 4-5. All three teams would be 1-1 in combined HTH and all lost to the four teams above them, so we move to goal differential between tied teams with a maximum of a 10-goal difference. Saint Vincent is +2 (lost 9-8 to ALL, won 12-9 vs. BET). Therefore:

*Bethany (currently -3) would need to defeat Allegheny (currently +1) by six goals or more to earn the #5 seed, which would make SVC the #6 seed and Allegheny out.

*If Bethany defeats Allegheny by 5 goals, both them and SVC finish at +2 and Allegheny is -4, so Allegheny is eliminated and we move back to HTH to seed #5-#6, with SVC at #5 due to HTH win over Bethany

*If Bethany defeats Allegheny by 3-4 goals, Saint Vincent (+2) is the #5 seed, Bethany is the #6 seed (E/+1) and Allegheny (-2/-3) is eliminated.

*If Bethany defeats Allegheny by 2 goals, Saint Vincent is +2 and ALL/BET are both -1. In this scenario, SVC is the #5 seed, then we start over with HTH tiebreaker for #6 seed, which would go to Bethany.

*If Bethany defeats Allegheny by 1 goal, Saint Vincent (+2) is the #5 seed, Allegheny (E) is the #6 seed and Bethany (-2) is eliminated. Therefore, Bethany must defeat Allegheny by 2 or more goals to get the final tournament spot.

*Geneva, Hiram and Thiel have all been eliminated from tournament eligibility.
