Week 9 PAC Honors (for games played April 13-19)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 9 of the 2026 season.
PAC Hitter of the Week
Ryan Cochran • Allegheny • Sophomore outfielder • Pittsburgh, Pa./Deer Lakes
Cochran powered Allegheny to a 4-0 week with sweeps of Bethany and Franciscan, as he slashed .556/.609/1.611 with 10 hits, including one double and an incredible six home runs, 10 runs scored, and 14 RBIs … He had multiple hits and RBIs in all four games, while homering in three straight contests …Cochran finished 2-for-4 in both halves of the Bethany series with three RBIs in a 23-3 victory and two RBIs on a home run in a 12-9 win in the nightcap … He hit a combined five home runs in a sweep of Franciscan, opening the series with a 3-for-6 effort with three homers, four runs, and five RBIs, leading the Gators to a 19-12 road victory … Cochran is one of three players to hit three homers in a game in team history, just one shy of the program single-game record … He then went 3-for-4 in the nightcap with two more home runs, giving him a PAC-leading 11 this year, three runs, and four RBIs, as Allegheny finished the two-game set with a 19-5 win at Garbark Field.

PAC Pitcher of the Week
Cody Horvath • Hiram • Senior • North Ridgeville, Ohio/Brookside
Horvath earned a win and save in three scoreless relief appearances to help fuel Hiram to a 4-0 record this past week with sweeps over Chatham and Waynesburg ... For the week, Horvath finished with five scoreless innings of relief, which included four strikeouts and just two hits allowed ... Horvath tossed two scoreless innings to pick up the win in a 12-9 victory over Chatham in game one of their doubleheader before throwing a scoreless ninth inning the next day in a 5-1 victory to complete the sweep ... The senior southpaw earned his third save of the year with two Ks in two perfect innings to close out a 6-4 game-two victory at Waynesburg Saturday.

Miner earned his first collegiate win on the mound in Allegheny's 23-3 rout of Bethany with a complete-game performance … He scattered seven hits and three walks across 7.0 innings of work, allowed just three runs (two earned) and tied a season-high with five strikeouts …Miner also batted .636 on the week with seven hits, six runs scored, and three RBIs … He recorded one hit, one run, and one RBI in the nightcap against Bethany, a 12-9 win … Miner went 3-for-4 at the plate in both halves of the Franciscan series, hitting a double with two runs scored in a 19-12 win on Saturday and doubling once with two RBIs and three runs scored in a 19-5 win on Sunday.

Bethany's Niko Heidt helped power the Bison to a 5-3 win over Westminster with two doubles, one RBI, one run scored and a stolen base ...Chatham's Angelo DeLeonardis belted a homer, drove in four and scored three times in game one against Hiram last Tuesday ... Josiah Bodie batted .500 last week (9-for-18), including going 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs in game 1 against Grove City, leading the Barons to their first-ever win over Grove City ... Geneva's Michael Twigg was 4-for-6 with four RBIs and two stolen bases in a 13-12 win over Thiel ... Grove City's Nick Remish homered in both ends of the Franciscan twinbill, including a two-run shot in the 14-8 win in game two ... W&J's Luke Alvarez slugged a pair of home runs, knocked in four runs and scored three times in a 13-1 win over Grove City ... Waynesburg's Brayden Krebs was 2-for-4 with a run scored in both ends of the doubleheader against Hiram ... Westminster's Thomas Rook went 3-for-5 with a double, five RBIs, one run scored and a stolen base in the Titans' 11-0 game-one victory over Waynesburg and he hit .714 (5-7) with two doubles, six RBIs and three runs scored in Tuesday's sweep of the Yellow Jackets.
