The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2026 season.
PAC Hitter of the Week
Ryan Cochran • Allegheny • Sophomore outfielder • Pittsburgh, Pa./Deer Lakes
Cochran slashed .583/.643/1.042 last week, which included four games with three hits, nine runs scored and three stolen bases ... In a 14-4 game-one win over Thiel, he was 3-for-3 with a home run, double, two RBIs and three runs scored ... Cochran followed that up by going 3-for-6 in the nightcap with a solo homer, a pair of stolen bases and two runs scored in a 13-5 victory... After he went 6-for-10 in the twinbill against Grove City, Cochran had two hits, including a triple, and scored twice in a 15-13 victory over Oberlin.

PAC Pitcher of the Week
Cason Bennett • Chatham • Senior • Vandalia, Ohio/Vandalia Butler
Bennett went 2-0 against PAC opponents with a 0.66 ERA and 11 K's in 13 2/3 innings last week ... On Wednesday, he threw 4 2/3 innings of scoreless relief while scattering four hits and walking two with five strikeouts to collect the win in a 10-3 victory at Saint Vincent ... Then on Saturday against PAC-leading Westminster, Bennett logged a complete-game win in a 6-1 game-one decision, allowing one run on eight hits in nine innings with six punchouts and two walks, as Chatham went on to sweep the doubleheader.

Jacob Harrelson • Westminster • Freshman pitcher • Canal Fulton, Ohio/Green
Harrelson fired 8.0 scoreless innings Wednesday in Westminster's 4-0 game-one victory over W&J … He allowed three hits and one walk while striking out a career-high nine … Harrelson retired 13 straight at one point and didn't allow a runner past first base after the second inning ... The Titans went on to sweep W&J for the first time since April 12, 2003 ... He improved to 4-0 this season and his 1.54 ERA is No. 2 in the PAC.

Allegheny's Michael Alspaugh hit .550 last week (11-20) with four doubles while also driving in six and scoring seven times in a 3-2 week ... Jaden Nestor-Fox finished the week 9-for-17 at the plate (.529) with seven RBI, including a 4-for-6, five-RBI performance in Bethany's 12-7 game-one win over Waynesburg ... Chatham senior Matt Bamford (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) recorded his 100th career strikeout with a K in the top of the fourth on Saturday versus Westminster ... Franciscan's Matteo Lindia was 6-for-8 withe five RBIs in the Barons's sweep over Thiel ... Geneva's Eric Keaton sparked a 14-1 win over Franciscan by throwing six strong innings, allowing just one run on five hits with three Ks ... Grove City's Nick Sampson went 8-for-10 with seven runs scored and seven runs batted in during Grove City's doubleheader sweep of Waynesburg, including a two-run home run in his first at-bat in an 18-3 game-one win and then went 5-for-6 with four runs scored in game-two victory ... Hiram's John Bender had a game-saving catch and go-ahead two-run home run in a 5-4 game-two win over Grove City to complete the Terriers' sweep of Wednesday's PAC twinbill ... Saint Vincent's Chuck Fontana was 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored in a 7-2 victory over Waynesburg, which salvaged a split of the doubleheader ... Thiel's Calvin Cackowski raked two home runs last week to push his league-leading total to eight as he extended his career-long on-base streak to 30 games ... W&J's Brendan Cruz threw a seven-inning complete game shutout in a 10-0 win over Hiram, as he fanned seven and allowed just three hits ... Waynesburg's Eli Boring had a home run and triple as part of a 3-for-4 performance in a 15-5 win over Saint Vincent and knocked in five while scoring four times ... Braden Zeigler helped Westminster complete a sweep of W&J Wednesday by going 2-for-4 with a home run, double and two RBIs in a 4-3 game-two victory.
