PAC Player of the Week
Claire Loomis • Washington & Jefferson • Senior • Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair
Loomis went undefeated in two dual matches last week, as the Presidents improved to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the PAC ... At No. 2 singles, she earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory against Waynesburg and a 6-0, 6-0 win against Franciscan ... In doubles play, Loomis secured a 6-1 set at No. 1 against the Yellow Jackets alongside partner Keiran Moorhead and the tandem secured a second 6-1 set at No. 1 against the Barons.

Dougherty went a combined a 4-0 last week as Grove City earned wins over Franciscan (7-0) and Penn State Behrend (6-1) ... At Franciscan, she earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at third singles after teaming with Grace Stitt for a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles ... Saturday against Behrend, Dougherty dropped only one game at third singles and teamed with Stitt for a 6-1 win at second doubles.

PAC Records & Milestones
Allegheny's Gabrielle Bassette finished 4-1 overall and Chanel Brun posted a 5-1 record in three matches played, as the Gators went 3-1 last week with wins over Westminster (7-0), Waynesburg (7-0), and Thiel (7-0) ... Chloe DeSanzo led Geneva to its fourth sweep in five matches on Tuesday, defeating Thiel 7-0 and the Golden Tornadoes are 4-1 in their last five matches, the program's best five-game stretch since 2022 ... Saint Francis' Helena Lynn won the Singles Championship at the 2026 ITA Division III Northeast Regionals and the All-American will compete in the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia Oct 15-18. Lynn also made it to the Doubles final with partner Sophia Cunningham and the duo also qualified for the ITA Cup later this month ... Julia Umshares and Gabby Peiritsh both went 2-0 in Waynesburg's historic 4-3 victory over Saint Vincent—the Yellow Jackets' first recorded victory over the Bearcats in recent memory—and they teamed for a 7-6 (7-5) win at third doubles against Allegheny.
