PAC Men's Wrestler of the Week
Jonathan Bissell • Thiel • Freshman • Sharpsville, Pa./Sharpsville
Bissell had a second-place showing, his highest collegiate finish, in a crowded 149-pound field at the Jamestown Community College Open Saturday ... Bissell opened his day with a pin (1:36) over Cam Ingram (Niagara CC) and a second pin (2:05) of Xavier Dombkowski (Mercyhurst) ... He logged a 20-4 technical fall (6:54) over Noah Obinna (Garrett) and a 10-8 decision over Nikolas Fegert (Pitt-Bradford) to book his ticket to the championship bout where he ultimately dropped a 17-5 major decision to Kyle Blzjak (John Carroll) ... Bissell also had a win by forfeit in a PAC victory over Bethany Wednesday and now sits at 15-5 on the season with a team-best 10 pins.

Issac Ray • Hiram • Freshman • Canton, Ohio/Canton Central Catholic
Ray continued his recent surge by beating Ohio Wesleyan's Andrew Mushkin at 184 pounds by technical fall (18-1), earning Hiram five points in a 25-24 win over the Battling Bishops.

King-Amari Wright's win by fall over OWU's Skyler Cornell (3:45) at 165 might've been the difference in Hiram's 25-24 dual victory on Friday night, as Hiram won on a tiebreaker ... Anthony Orlandini picked up Saint Vincent's lone win in their matchup against nationally-ranked NCAA Division II Pitt-Johnstown when he earned an 11-2 major decision at 149 ... In a 45-3 PAC victory over Bethany Thursday, Thiel's Zach Ward cruised to a 16-0 tech fall (6:14) and then placed fifth at 174 in a 19-wrestler field at the Jamestown Community College Open Saturday ... Waynesburg's Jessie Orbin reached 20 wins for a third straight season by defeating Penn State Behrend's Anthony Salvini 8-5 in sudden victory and is now 20-2 on the year and 9-0 in dual matches.
