Week 2 PAC Honors (for events between January 19-25)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 2 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Ezra Oesterling • Thiel • Sophomore outside hitter • Shelocta, Pa./West Shamokin
Oesterling averaged 3.3 kills per set while hitting an efficient .328 across the Tomcats' three matches at Misericordia's Cougar Kickoff Classic .. On Saturday, the sophomore notched 15 kills on just 23 swings, hitting .565 on the match, along with two service aces, two digs, a block and an assist in a sweep of Elmira ... He followed up with 11 kills (hitting .269), six digs and two assists against Messiah later that afternoon ... Oesterling also recorded seven kills, three digs and an ace against Misericordia on Friday.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Bryce Lizanich • Thiel • Junior middle blocker • Coraopolis, Pa./Montour
Lizanich totaled 11 blocks to average 1.10 blocks per set during Thiel's three-match weekend in Misericordia's Cougar Kickoff Classic ... The junior recorded three solo blocks to go along with five kills, and two service aces in Friday's three-set match against Misericordia ... Lizanich followed with two assisted blocks and a dig along with nine kills and an ace to help Thiel defeat Elmira 3-0 on Saturday ... He finished out the weekend totaling six blocks (two solo, four assisted) and seven kills in a four-set match against Messiah.

DiMalanta hit an efficient .343 to help the Wolverines to a 1-1 week ... On Wednesday the freshman recorded his first career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs, hitting .346 in the match, adding three blocks (two solo, one assisted) in the four-set contest at Mount Union ... He followed with five digs, four kills, three service aces and two assisted blocks in Thursday's home sweep of Carlow.

Chatham's Tim McCabe set a new program record, hitting an impressive .882 with 15 kills and zero errors on 17 attempts in the sweep of Carlow on Wednesday ... Geneva's Owen Kelly posted his first double-double of the season with 12 digs and 10 kills on Friday against Wilkes ... Thiel hit .493, the second-best single-match mark in program history, in Saturday's sweep of Elmira.
