TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Waynesburg University senior running back Zayne Cawley (Huntingtown, Maryland/Huntingtown), Geneva College senior wide receiver Keaton Baker (Salem, Ohio/United), Westminster College senior linebacker Dylan Sleva (McDonald, Pa./Moon), and Westminster College sophomore kick returner Brite Cannon (Parkland, Fla./Monarch) were named to the D3football.com team of the week for their efforts in the first slate of league games this past weekend.

Cawley accounted for three of Waynesburg’s five touchdowns on the day en route to a narrow 35-27 win over Hiram. His first score came just three minutes and 40 seconds into the first quarter.

Cawley's second score came late in the second quarter to give the Yellow Jackets their second lead of the day. Just over five minutes into the second half, Cawley punched in his third score of the day from six yards out to give Waynesburg the lead for good.

Cawley rushed for 230 yards on 29 carries in the victory and added 28 more yards through the air on three catches.

This is the second time in his career that Cawley has received this accolade.

In a high-scoring affair in Beaver Falls, Pa., Baker reeled in 12 passes for 282 yards and four touchdowns, as the high-powered Golden Tornado offense led Geneva to a 55-35 win over Saint Vincent

Baker found the endzone twice in the second quarter, first from 44 yards out and then again on a first-and-goal play from the five-yard line.

In the third frame, quarterback Caleb Romano (Ravena, N.Y./Mount Dora Christian Academy) connected with Baker on a deep ball for a 75-yard score, the longest offensive play for Geneva on the day.

Baker scored again in the fourth, helping Geneva secure its first victory of the 2025 season.

The Westminster duo of Sleva and Cannon muscled the Titans to a conference win over Case Western Reserve Saturday night in Cleveland, Ohio.

Midway through the second quarter, Cannon returned a kick 100 yards, endzone to endzone, to put the Titans up two touchdowns. It was the second kickoff return for a touchdown in Cannon’s career.

Moments before the two-minute timeout in the first half, Cannon scored again, this time on an 80-yard reception to put Westminster ahead, 28-14. Cannon finished the day with 126 receiving yards on six catches.

Cannon was named the PAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his contributions in the 28-23 win over the Spartans.

Sleva piled up 15 total tackles and 10 solo tackles to go along with a sack in the matchup. It was the fifth consecutive game with a dozen or more tackles for Sleva, who currently leads all Division III players with 58 total tackles.

Cannon and Sleva were both named to the D3football.com team of the week for the first time in their careers.
