LEXINGTON, Ky. (pacathletics.org) – A total of seven Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) programs, including five women's and two men's, were recognized for academic excellence when they received the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT.

The honor recognizes volleyball teams that maintain a year-long team grade point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale during the recently completed academic year.

Featured on the women's list is 2024 PAC champion Allegheny College, who was recognized for the sixth straight year and ninth time overall.

Saint Vincent College also added another appearance on the Team Academic Award list, which is their 13th overall and seventh consecutive year, the longest current streak of any PAC program. Rounding out the women's programs to be honored is Westminster College, their 11th time overall and second in a row, Washington & Jefferson College (seventh overall) and Franciscan University (fourth overall).

For the first time, the PAC also had men's programs receive the AVCA Team Academic Award after the conference sponsored its initial men's volleyball championship in 2025. The two PAC teams to garner recognition were Geneva College, who earned it for the fifth straight year, and Grove City College, who reached the PAC Tournament Championship Game in its first season as a varsity program.

More than 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams from across the U.S. were recipients of the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT.
