TRAFFORD, Pa. - The 2024-25 academic year ended on a high note once again for the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in the classroom, as the Spring 2025 semester saw 1,065 student-athletes earn PAC Academic Honor Roll distinction to set a new semester record, as well as a new yearly record for total number on the Academic Honor Roll.

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of championship competition.

This spring's list with 1,065 student-athletes cruised past the previous semester record of 929, which was set in the Spring of 2024. In addition, adding the Spring total to the 897 who earned a spot on the Fall 2024 Academic Honor Roll, the PAC recognized a combined 1,962 student-athletes between the Fall and Spring semesters. That total surpasses the old record of 1,791 set in the 2023-24 academic year.

Grove City College paced the 11 full-time league schools with 136 student-athletes being named to the PAC Spring 2025 Academic Honor Roll. That also broke the previous record for most student-athletes in a semester, which Allegheny College set in the Spring of 2023 with 114. Five other schools all surpassed 100+ on this spring's Honor Roll, including Allegheny with 113, Saint Vincent College with 110, Washington & Jefferson College at 109, Westminster College with 107 and Chatham University with 104.

Next on the list was Geneva College with 85, followed by Thiel College (84), Franciscan University (79), Bethany College (67) and Waynesburg University (67). As an affiliate member this year in wrestling and men's volleyball, Hiram College, who will be a full member in the PAC in all sports next year, placed four on the Academic Honor Roll.

Sports included in the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2025 semester are: BASE (baseball); MBB (men's basketball); MGLF (men's golf); MITF (men's indoor track and field); MLAX (men's lacrosse); MOTF (men's outdoor track and field); MSD (men's swimming and diving); MTEN (men's tennis); MVB (men's volleyball); WBB (women's basketball); WGLF (women's golf); SOFT (softball); WITF (women's indoor track and field); WLAX (women's lacrosse); WOTF (women's outdoor track and field); WRES (wrestling); WSD (women's swimming and diving).
