The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2024-25 season.

PAC Player of the Week
Carter Hassenplug • Allegheny • Senior • North East, Pa./North East
Hassenplug won individual medalist honors and led the Gators to a team win at the 2025 Pennsylvania Classic ... He tied for first place with a 4-under 140, but beat Penn State-Altoona's Peter Nusbaum in a two-hole playoff for the win ... Hassenplug had five birdies on Saturday and was near-perfect on Sunday, finishing par or better on 17 holes with two birdies and one eagle on the 18th, which forced the playoff ... He birdied the 18th again after both he and Nusbaum parred the 14th in the playoff ... In addition to medalist honors, he helped Allegheny secure a 10-stroke victory over runner-up W&J.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Thomas Margison • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman • Silver Spring, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel
Margison led the Presidents with a 143 (-1) score on the weekend at the Pennsylvania Classic, one of three golfers to shoot under par through the weekend ... He posted a round-one score of 75 (+3) before shooting a field-best score in round two of 68 (-4) to climb to his third-place finish out of 94 golfers.

PAC Records & Milestones
Bethany's Payton Hildebrand shot a +4, 76 Monday at the Geneva Invitational to finish first in the 40-golfer field and help the Bison finish second as a team ... Paced by Timothy Ehko's 78 Monday, Geneva won their home invitational with a team score of 323 ... Grove City's Luke Gronbeck earned medalist honors at the Wolverines' annual McBride-Behringer-Allen "MBA" Invitational, winning a scorecard playoff after finishing with a 73, and then tied for fifth at the Pennsylvania Classic with a two-round score of 146 (73-73) ... Waynesburg's Matthew Karpeal was the runner-up at Geneva's Invitational Monday with a five-over 77 ... Westminster's Logan Marnik finished in fourth place after shooting an even-par, two-round score of 144 at last weekend's Pennsylvania Classic.
