The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 5 of the 2025 season.

 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Evan Puhl • Geneva • Junior middle hitter • McMurray, Pa./Peters Township 
Puhl recorded a career-best week, hitting .571 over four matches for the Golden Tornadoes ... In Geneva's three-set win over Carlow on Wednesday, Puhl posted 10 kills on just 12 swings, hitting an impressive .833 while adding three service aces and a block ... The middle hitter went on to hit .778 with seven kills on nine attempts and adding four digs and two blocks in a victory over Bethany on Thursday ... Puhl wrapped up the week by adding 13 more kills and five solo blocks across two matches against Lancaster Bible, hitting .563 in the second match.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Kyle Martini • Hiram • Senior middle blocker • Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley
Martini set a new program record for total blocks in a single match with nine, recording four solo and five assisted, in a five-set victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene on Tuesday ... The senior middle blocker went on to record another nine total blocks over two matches on the weekend ... In a three-set win over Thiel, Martini had three total blocks, one solo and two assisted, while adding six total blocks (three solo, three assisted) in the five-set match against Baldwin Wallace ... On the week, Martini averaged 1.38 blocks per set.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Ezra Oesterling • Thiel • Freshman outside hitter • Shelocta, Pa./West Shamokin
Oesterling averaged 18.0 kills, 8.5 digs, 3.0 solo blocks and 1.5 aces per match in Thiel's 1-1 weekend, including a four-set victory over No. 13 Baldwin Wallace ... The freshman led the Tomcat offense with 18 kills (hitting .229) and posted career-highs in both service aces (three) and solo blocks (three) to help Thiel top Baldwin Wallace ... Oesterling added another 18-kill performance, hitting .353, to pair with 10 digs for his fourth double-double of the season in a three-set match against Hiram ... Oesterling currently is second in the PAC and sits at 24th nationally, averaging 3.72 kills per set.

PAC Records & Milestones
Chatham's Benjamin Shelestak (25) and Logan Pack (16) set career-highs in kills against Penn State-Altoona ... In Thiel's four-set win over No. 13 Baldwin Wallace, Bryce Lizanich set career highs and led the match with eight total blocks, including four solos, as the Tomcats posted team season bests in solo blocks (11) and total blocks (15) while tying their season high in block assists (eight).
