PAC Men's Wrestler of the Week
Chase Brandebura • Saint Vincent • Junior • Carnegie, Pa./Carlynton
Brandebura went 4-0 to win the 174-pound weight class at the Messiah Invitational ... He earned his four victories by pin, technical fall, decision, and major decision ... In the finals, he earned a 20-6 major decision over Cristian Gioia of New York University.

PAC Men's Wrestling Newcomer of the Week
Joey Gardner • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman • Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan
Gardner picked up five wins while competing in all three events on the week for the Presidents ... He logged two victories on Thursday night against Waynesburg and Mount Union at 157 pounds, opening the night with a pin at the 1:46 mark in the first period of his initial match of the night against the Yellow Jackets ... Against Mount Union, Gardner scored a 7-2 win by decision in the 157-pound bout ... Gardner finished the week by placing sixth at the Ohio Northern Invitational at 157, opening up the invitational with a fall in 1:58, before scoring a 19-4 technical fall in 3:31, and a two-point reversal to upset the number two seed in the bracket in the third round ... Gardner fell in the semifinals to the No. 3 seeded wrestler from Ohio Northern.

Bethany's Angelo Di Pol won the 125-pound consolation bracket at the ONU Invitational, going 4-1 with two falls and a major decision victory in the third-place match, marking the team’s best finish of the day ... Mequan Maxwell scored a pin in 21 seconds at 141 pounds and Jonathan Bissell followed with a pin in 1:24 at 149 in Thiel's 37-10 PAC-opening win over Hiram Friday ... W&J's Vitali Daniels picked up two victories at the W&J Duals last Thursday, as he kicked off the evening with a win by pinfall in his 184 match in a team victory over Waynesburg and later that evening, Daniels bounced back from an early deficit during his 184 match, scoring six unanswered points to win the bout by decision, 6-3 ... After dropping a hard-fought 5-4 decision to the eventual champion at 174, Waynesburg's Jessie Orbin rebounded with five straight wins, including two major decisions and a tech fall, to finish a team-high third place at Saturday's ONU Invitational.
