TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Washington & Jefferson College graduate student Riley DeRubbo (Washington, Pa./Trinity) earned a spot on the first installment of the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the 2025-26 season.

DeRubbo guided the Presidents to a 3-0 week, gathering wins against Penn State Behrend, Ohio Northern, and Mount Union during the opening week of action. The graduate student averaged 20 points and seven rebounds throughout the three victories.

The highlight of the week for DeRubbo came last Monday (Nov. 10) in a road win at Penn State Behrend, where she posted a 24-point performance. DeRubbo led all players in minutes played with 38, went 7-of-15 from the field, 3-of-6 from three-point range, and grabbed four steals in the contest.

Against Mount Union, the Presidents led by 15 points with 1:54 in the third quarter. After the Purple Raiders rallied to take the lead, DeRubbo responded with a huge three-point make to put the Presidents back in front, and narrowly secure the victory, 66-65.

Overall, DeRubbo converted 49% of shots from the field, 63% from beyond the arc, and 94% of attempts from the free throw line this past week.

W&J heads to Marietta, Ohio, this coming weekend to take on the Pioneers, and the Cortland Red Dragons, in the 39th Annual Jim Meagle Classic sponsored by BSN Sports.
