PAC Player of the Week
Makenna Maier • Saint Vincent • Junior forward/guard • Butler, Pa./Butler
Maier averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game and dished out four assists during Saint Vincent's 2-0 week ... The junior forward/guard shot 60 percent from the field (15-for-25), including 6-11 (55 percent) from beyond the arc during the week ... In the Bearcats' 86-79 win at Bethany, Maier recorded a double-double, scoring 27 points, shooting 10-for-14 (71 percent) from the field and 4-for-7 from three-point range, while also grabbing 12 rebounds and adding two assists ... Maier followed up with a 13-point performance on Saturday to help the Bearcats defeat Allegheny 76-61 ... Maier shot 5-for-11 from the field, including 2-4 from the arc, and totaled eight boards and two more assists.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Ava Kobus • Allegheny • Freshman forward • Pittsburgh, Pa./Norwin
Kobus averaged 6.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game in a 2-1 week for the Gators… The freshman forward helped Allegheny defeat Westminster 74-65 on Wednesday, netting 10 points, shooting 80 percent from the free throw line (4-for-5), and grabbing five boards in her third game of the year scoring double digits … In Saturday's game against Saint Vincent, Kobus was 4-for-10 from the field (40 percent) for a total of nine points, while adding four rebounds, two steals, two blocked shots and an assist.

Sarah Santicola led Allegheny to a 65-60 win at Grove City with a career-high 28 points with 12 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and three steals and averaged a double-double (18 points/12.3 rebounds) in a 2-1 week ... W&J senior Meghan Dryburgh (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) grabbed her 1,000th career rebound in Tuesday's victory over Thiel to become the second women's basketball player in Presidents' history to log 1,000 career stats in two categories ... Dryburgh rests 113 away from breaking the W&J rebound record, currently held by Maggie Gibson '10 (1,125) ... In Saturday's 80-54 victory over Waynesburg, W&J's Adalynn Cherry went 5-of-8 from the three-point line and tied her prior single-game high in made triples ... Waynesburg's Kara McFadden posted 13 points and a career-high eight assists in an 84-63 win over Franciscan ... In Saturday's victory over Franciscan, Westminster's Katie Maryo connected on five of her eight attempted three-point field goals for her fourth game this season with at least five made three-pointers … Maryo's 40 made three-pointers are the most in the league and tied for 13th-most in Division III this year.
