The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2025 season.

 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Kaleb Proudfoot • Thiel • Junior middle blocker Butler, Pa./Butler
Proudfoot totaled 28 kills on 53 attempts with one error, posting a .509 hitting percentage, to average 9.3 kills per match in Thiel's opening weekend at Wittenburg's Kickoff Classic ... In the Tomcats' opening match on Friday against Concordia Chicago, Proudfoot tallied eight kills on 19 swings to hit .421 in the five-set victory ... On Saturday, in a five-set match against Roanoke, the junior posted a .579 hitting percentage, with 11 kills, zero errors and added five total blocks (three solo, two assisted) ... In Thiel's final match of the weekend against Wittenberg, Proudfoot hit a match leading .533 with nine kills.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Garrett Scheidegger • Hiram • Senior middle blocker • Somerset, Calif./Union Mine
Scheidegger compiled a team-high nine total blocks averaging 1.5 blocks per set in Hiram's opening weekend at Juniata ... The senior middle blocker highlighted the weekend with a career-high performance at the net totaling seven blocks (one solo, six assisted) in a three-set non-conference victory over Chatham ... Scheidegger added two assisted blocks in the Terriers' three-set match against Juniata.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Ezra Oesterling • Thiel • Freshman outside hitter • Shelocta, Pa./West Shamokin
Oesterling averaged 15.7 kills and 8.7 digs while hitting .216 in the Tomcat's opening weekend at the Wittenberg Kickoff Classic ... In his collegiate debut against Concordia Chicago Friday, he had a match-best 16 kills and nine digs ... Oesterling recorded his first collegiate double-double against Roanoke, tallying 11 kills and 13 digs ... In the final match against Wittenberg, the freshman led all hitters with 20 kills, hitting .325 and adding four digs.

PAC Records & Milestones
Hiram earned their first win under head coach Tyler North and its first as a full-time member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 3-0 victory over Chatham in a non-conference match-up on Saturday at Juniata.
