The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 9 of the 2024-25 season.
 

PAC Player of the Week

Isaac Cherry • Grove City • Sophomore center • Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia Cherry averaged 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while also shooting 78 percent (18-of-23) from the field, as Grove City stayed atop the conference with two come-from-behind wins … Saturday, Cherry scored a career-best 31 points in a 98-87 victory at Bethany … He shot 14-of-18 from the field while also adding 12 rebounds and three assists for his second double-double of the season … Wednesday night, Cherry had 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting in a 62-61 win over Geneva, as the Wolverines rallied from a 17-point hole in the second half … Cherry added five rebounds and two blocks in the win.

PAC Newcomer of the Week

Tarek Crosby • Saint Vincent • Freshman guard • West Newton, Pa./Yough Crosby put together the best week of his freshman campaign, averaging 14 points and 2.5 rebounds, while also dishing out two assists and picking up a steal as well over the course of the Bearcats' 2-0 week ... Crosby was an efficient 10-of-15 from the field, including going 6-of-8 (75%) from beyond the arc ... In Saint Vincent's 112-81 win against Bethany, Crosby was 5-for-8 from the field and 2-for-3 from the arc, as he scored 14 points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out two assists, and picked up a steal as well .... He followed that up with another 14-point performance in SVC's 91-75 win against Allegheny Saturday on an impressive 5-for-7 shooting night, including 4-for-5 from the three-point line.

PAC Records & Milestones

Allegheny's Luke Barker, who tied a season-high with 33 points in a 74-69 win at Westminster, became the 17th player in program history to surpass 1,200 career points and now ranks 16th all-time with 1,217 points ... Josh Zimmerman posted a double-double (23 points/11 rebounds) and scored the game-winning bucket with two seconds left in Franciscan's 88-87 win over Westminster Saturday ... Geneva's Mark Rachic scored a career-high 28 points against Chatham on Saturday, the second time in eight days that he has set a career-best scoring mark ... Grove City senior guard Jonah Bock (Erie, Pa./McDowell) has 203 career three-pointers, four shy of Shawn Carr's school record of 207 (2004-08) ... Waynesburg's Antone Baker became the 36th men's player in program history to score 1,000 career points in the Yellow Jackets' OT victory over Franciscan.
