PAC Player of the Week
Zachary Melzar • Allegheny • Senior • Sterling, Mass./Wachusett Regional
Melzar led Allegheny to victory at the annual Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational by taking medalist honors ... He followed up an even 72 with a 5-under 67 for a total of 139, two strokes ahead of the runner-up ... Melzar finished with 13 birdies, including four in a row from the fourth through seventh holes in round two ... Helped the Gators finish under par as a team at 568 (-8) and their second-round team score of 282 is the best for Allegheny at its home tournament in more than 20 years.

Kochis climbed 12 spots up the leaderboard with a second-round 71 (-1) and finished tied for fourth with a 147 (+3) at Allegheny's Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational ... He was one of three Gators to tie for fourth place and one of seven inside the top 10, as the Gators cruised to a convincing victory at its home invitational ... Five of Kochis' eight birdies came in the second round.

Bethany's Payton Hildebrand claimed the top spot among over 30 individuals in the Geneva Quad Match Monday, shooting 73 to finish first ... Waynesburg's Alan Tarolli, who has earned all-tournament honors in each of his first four outings as a Jacket, won his second individual title with a one-over 73 and led Waynesburg to a team title (320) by a single stroke over Geneva at the Golden Eagle Invitational ... At Allegheny's Invitational. Westminster graduate student Kai Haseyama (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito Academy) and senior Gavin Batdorff (Berlin Center, Ohio/South Range) finished the tournament in a five-way tie for fourth place with matching 147's.
