Week 3 PAC Honors (for events between Sept. 9-15)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 3 of the 2024 season.

 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Dagney Javes Allegheny • Senior middle hitterFrederick, Colo. | Dawson School
Javes led the Gators to a 5-0 week, including a four-match sweep at the Allegheny Invitational, recording a week total of 64 kills (4.0 k/set) while hitting .424 ...  In the four matches at the home tournament, Javes posted double-digit kills in each, beginning with 12 kills on Friday afternoon in a victory over Thiel and following up with a week-high of 15 kills in the 3-1 win over W&J on Friday evening ... On Saturday, the senior middle hitter led the Gators in both games, recording 14 kills with an impressive .609 hitting percentage in the 3-0 win over Fredonia while adding six total blocks ... Javes concluded the weekend with another 14-kill performance in the final win over Houghton.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Jacy Diaz • Allegheny • Junior defensive specialist • Barranquitas, Puerto Rico | Gallatin-Tenn.
In a 5-0 week for the Gators, Diaz totaled 107 digs, averaging 6.69 digs per set ...  In the first match of the Allegheny Invitational against Thiel, Diaz had 28 digs in just three sets, averaging 9.33 digs per set, a conference best this season ... In the four-set victory over W&J, the junior had 30 digs while adding six service aces and zero reception errors ... Diaz capped off the weekend with 17-dig and 16-dig performances while adding a total of four service aces in wins over Fredonia and Houghton on Saturday.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Meegan Williams • Saint Vincent • Freshman outside hitter • Homer City, Pa. | Homer-Center
Williams recorded another double-double, her fourth of the season, in the Bearcats' lone match of the week ... Williams notched 10 kills, while also recording 15 digs in the Bearcats' 3-1 win at Pitt-Greensburg on Thursday ... She also compiled an impressive .318 hitting percentage, earning 12 points, while also dishing out three assists and added a block and a service ace in Saint Vincent's win.

PAC Records & Milestones
W&J sophomore Sophie Little recorded a season-high of 17 kills in the three-set win over Westminster on Saturday and was also named to the Allegheny Invitational all-tournament team  ... Waynesburg head coach Hope Johnston picked up her first win as a collegiate coach in Waynesburg's four-set win over Bethany ... It was the first time the Yellow Jackets had defeated the Bison since 2008, snapping Bethany's 29-game winning streak ... Waynesburg sophomore Krista Wilson had a career-high 18 kills against Pitt-Greensburg ... Westminster senior Shelby Rambo was one of seven players named to the Allegheny Invitational all-tournament team, while freshman Brooke Gecina had a career-high 23 digs against Fredonia State on Friday.
