The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 2 of the 2024 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Alex Fromberg • Case Western Reserve • Senior quarterback • Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan
Fromberg led the Spartans to a resounding 64-6 win over Bethany on Saturday, matching the largest margin of victory in a game in program history ... Fromberg completed 14-of-18 passes for 243 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, while adding 10 rushing yards, despite not playing a down in the second half with the team leading 51-6 at the break ... He threw touchdown passes of 27 yards to Mitchell Waite, 51 yards to Dylan Cave, eight yards to Ethan Dahlem, and 45 yards to Noah Coyne ... Fromberg has completed 81% of his passes for 512 yards with six touchdowns and an interception this season.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Robbie Labuda • Saint Vincent • Sophomore safetyAcme, Pa./Mount Pleasant
In Saint Vincent's 41-20 win at Allegheny, Labuda made three tackles and had two interceptions ... His first interception of the day came in the second quarter and led directly to the Bearcats' fourth touchdown of the afternoon ... Labuda's second pick came on the final play of the third quarter, which he returned 40 yards for his first career touchdown ... He became just the 11th player in the program's modern era (2007 - present) to tally two interceptions in a game, while it was the Bearcats' first pick-six since Ahmad Shaw had a 40-yard TD return in the 2021 season finale against Bethany ... Labuda's two interceptions at Allegheny spearheaded a Saint Vincent defensive effort that forced four turnovers.

PAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Coltin Colucci • Allegheny • Junior linebacker • Brewster, Ohio/Fairless
Colucci recovered a botched snap on a Saint Vincent punt and returned it 12 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter for the Gators' second TD of the day ... He also produced a game- and career-high 20 tackles, with 3.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks … The 20 tackles are the most by a Gator in a game since Kyle McGee '20 racked up 21 in a 31-20 victory over Oberlin on November 16, 2019.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Aiden Fletcher • Westminster • Freshman linebacker • Pittsburgh, Pa./Deer Lakes 
Fletcher had three tackles (two solo), two sacks and a pair of forced fumbles in his debut Saturday against Waynesburg … His first sack and forced fumble stopped a Waynesburg drive inside the red zone late in the second quarter ... Fletcher's strip sack in the fourth quarter led to Ty McGowan's 8-yard touchdown run that closed out the scoring.

Allegheny freshman DL Jerome Williams II (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville); Case Western Reserve freshman QB/ATH Jake Kavcic (Kirtland, Ohio/Gilmour Academy); Thiel freshman QB Robert Doyle (Crowley, Texas/Arlington Heights); W&J freshman LB Brock Sherman (Copley, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit)
 
PAC Records & Milestones
Carnegie Mellon linebacker Thomas Coury (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) moved into sixth on the program's all-time tackles list and needs two to move into fifth ... Another Tartan linebacker, Logan Young, made a team-high 11 tackles and grabbed his 11th career interception to move into a tie for sixth all-time in program history ... Geneva linebacker Nicholas Ciriello finished with a career-high 13 tackles at Carnegie Mellon Saturday, as well as intercepting his first career pass ... Thiel defensive lineman Luke Faber recorded his first career touchdown with a pick-six late in the third quarter against W&J ... W&J's Brandon Brown logged his second career interception in the win at Thiel ... Leading W&J in tackles in Saturday's win was freshman LB Brock Sherman with six, including a sack ... Waynesburg running back Zayne Cawley rushed for 129 yards Saturday at Westminster, the most rushing yards in a PAC game this season.
