PAC Places 56 on Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track & Field Teams

32 Women, 24 Men Earn Recognition

TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) had 56 student-athletes, including 32 women and 24 men, named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track/courses, in the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

Women's Track and Field/XC first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 9. The Men's Track and Field/XC first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced one day later on July 10.


On the men's side, Geneva College had five student-athletes earn the All-District honor, while Grove City College and Washington & Jefferson College had four each. Allegheny College and Westminster College placed three apiece on the All-District team, Franciscan University and Saint Vincent College had two make the list and Waynesburg University had one.

Moving onto the ballot for Academic All-America® consideration will be two from Grove City and one each from Geneva, W&J and Waynesburg.

For the women, three programs, including Allegheny, Geneva and Westminster, placed five student-athletes on the list, while W&J and Waynesburg had four recognized. Franciscan, Grove City and Saint Vincent completed the PAC representation on the list with three each earning Academic All-District® laurels.

The Academic All-America® women's ballot will feature 11 from the PAC, including four from Allegheny, three from W&J, two from Grove City and one each from Waynesburg and Westminster.
