The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2024 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Sofia Jenkins • Washington & Jefferson • Senior attack • Hughesville, Md./The Calverton School
Jenkins racked up 19 points last week as W&J picked up wins over Chatham and Franciscan to extend its winning streak to six games ... She scored four goals and added six assists in a 20-13 win Wednesday over Chatham ... Jenkins then added three goals and six more assists in a 21-12 victory at Franciscan on Saturday ... For the week, she totaled seven goals, 12 assists, seven draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover and additionally became W&J's all-time leader in assists Saturday when she surpassed Caroline Kallos' previous high of 120 assists.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Madison Liggett • Thiel • Senior goalie • Baltimore, Md./Catholic
Liggett earned a pair of wins last week in Thiel’s victories over Franciscan and Westminster, as she made 21 saves and scooped nine ground balls on the week … Liggett, who faced a total of 60 shots last week, owned a goals-against average of 9.00 and a save percentage of .538 … She matched her season-high with 14 saves Wednesday in Thiel’s 16-10 win over Franciscan and then made seven saves Saturday in a 14-8 win over Westminster.

PAC Midfielder of the Week
Abby Roetering • Grove City • Junior midfielder • Glenelg, Md./Glenelg
Roetering helped Grove City to a 2-0 record last week in conference play … She had five goals, two assists and two caused turnovers in a 22-1 win over Waynesburg … Saturday at Chatham, Roetering posted a goal, assist, two caused turnovers and four ground balls in a 13-9 victory at Chatham ... She assisted on the first goal of the game and scored the Wolverines' fourth, as Grove City built an early 5-1 lead and their margin was never less than three the rest of the day.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Katherine Surdykowski • Allegheny • Freshman midfielder • Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional
Surdykowski had a busy week helping Allegheny beat Bethany and Saint Vincent with six points (4g-2a), 11 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and six draw controls … She finished with a season-high-tying three points (2g-1a) in both games … Surdykowski caused a season-high five turnovers with five ground balls and four draws at Bethany and then logged six ground balls with two caused turnovers and two draws at Saint Vincent.

PAC Records & Milestones
The one goal Allegheny allowed in their 19-1 win over Saint Vincent was the fewest surrendered in a game since 2016 ... Allegheny junior Ema Caragein followed her career-high six goals in win over Bethany with career-bests in assists (five) and points (eight) in Saint Vincent triumph ... Franciscan sophomore Brooke Biagi broke the school record for single-game draw controls with 19 against Thiel and followed up with 10 more DCs against W&J, which broke the single-season record (91) ... Westminster senior Nina Rascona's career-high 14 draw controls Wednesday at Saint Vincent put her over 100 for her career.
