BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – Geneva College men's soccer Head Coach Gary Dunda, along with five players, were named National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-Midwest Region selections on Monday. Dunda was named the Co-Coach of the Year, while junior Wil Dunda was named a First Team selection and seniors Hadyn Catalon, Carnel Kerr and Darren Main, along with junior Mike Rogers, were named Second Team selections.

Dunda was named the Co-Coach of the Year after leading his team back to the postseason after an excellent year in which the Golden Tornadoes did not lose a regular season match. Geneva's season eventually came to an end in the NCCAA National Tournament last weekend. This strong season comes on the heels of last year's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Team.

Wil Dunda (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) added another accolade to his growing collection in earning NCCAA First Team Honors. He's already been named an All-PAC First Team selection, as well as to the PAC All-Tournament Team, and a United Soccer Coaches All-Region honoree. He scored three goals and had a team-high seven assists this year.

Catalon (Haymarket, Va./Battlefield) earned NCCAA Second Team honors to his Honorable Mention All-PAC selection. He started ten games this year and did not allow a single goal.  His nine shutouts this season are second highest total in a single season in program history.

Kerr (Flankers, Jamaica/Carlynton
) wrapped up his outstanding career this year, and he adds this NCCAA Second Team honor award to his Second Team All-PAC selection. He led the team with seven goals while adding four assists, and his 29 career goals are tenth in program history.

The NCCAA Second Team All-Region honors for Main (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) comes shortly after he received First Team All-PAC honors last month. He was a starter in every game this season as an outside back and often pushed forward to help the offense, totaling two goals and an assist this year.

Rogers (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township
) earned NCCAA Second Team honors in a season in which he led the team in minutes played. He was a constant defensive presence in the midfield in helping Geneva to another outstanding defensive season, while also totaling three goals and two assists.
