The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 7 of the 2024-25 season.
 

PAC Men's Swimmer/Diver of the Week

Jacob Dzurica • Saint Vincent • Junior • Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Dzurica earned 91 points, picking up two individual wins for the Bearcats over the course of the three-day Malone Invitational event last weekend ... Dzurica began his weekend by winning the 50-yard freestyle, swimming a time of 20.38 to win the event, and would conclude his weekend the same way he started it, as he won the 100 freestyle with a time of 45.48 in the finals to take first place ... His impressive weekend also added a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke, swimming a time of 50.28 in the 24-swimmer field ... Dzurica was also a part of the Bearcats fourth-place 200 freestyle relay as well as the fourth-place 400 medley relay (3:32.67) and fifth-place 200 medley relay for Saint Vincent ... Dzurica's times in the 50 and 100 free and 100 back, as well as the 400 medley relay, are all first in the conference this season.

PAC Men's Newcomer of the Week

March Yuan • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman • Simi Valley, Calif./Oak Park Yuan posted three individual top-10 finishes and five overall at the Malone Invitational ... Yuan kicked off the three-day event with a fifth-place finish in the 400 IM with a mark of 4:12.89 and tied for 10th in the 200 IM, racing to a 1:59.22 mark ... Yuan concluded the invite with a sixth-place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:57.76 ... All three of his times in those events currently rank first in the conference this season ... Yuan also swam laps on the 400 medley relay (fifth, 3:38.85) and 800 free relay (ninth, 7:35.54).

PAC Records & Milestones

With a time of 2:04.63 in the 200 IM at the Malone Invitational, Allegheny's Emmet Fluharty placed 16th overall and the time ranks fifth-fastest in the PAc this year ... Chatham's Caleb Trainum set new school records during the Malone Invitational in the 100 fly (54.74), 200 fly (2:10.58) and 200 IM (2:07.35) ... Also setting three new Chatham records at the Malone Invitational was Cal Hockman, who established new Cougar marks in the 50 back (25.35), 100 back (54.53) and 100 free (48.64) ... Grove City's Caleb Einolf won three events, including the 100 breaststroke in a conference-best time of 56.04 seconds, as the Wolverines earned its first-ever win over Rochester ... W&J's Logan Marks was second at the Malone Invitational in the 200 breaststroke while breaking his own school record in the event (2:03.87) and also placed second in the 100 breaststroke (56.70).
