PAC Runner of the Week

Celia Cocca • Allegheny • Junior • East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora Cocca led Allegheny to its second race win in a row, as the Gators won their home Allegheny Classic Saturday ... Cocca won the individual title by placing first with the only time under 19 minutes in the three-mile run (18:59).

PAC Newcomer of the Week

Lauren Dosch • Franciscan • Freshman • Grand Forks, N.D./Red River Dosch wins her third consecutive Newcomer award after she posted a new season-best time of 19:21.4 in the 5K race at the National Catholic Championship at Notre Dame with several Division I and II schools in attendance ... Her time was the fastest by a freshman from Franciscan at this event since 2010 when Nicole Krajewski posted a time of 19:16 ... Her time would also be the third fastest of all Division III runners in the field.

Allegheny freshman Shyann Rulander (Warren, Pa./Warren); Westminster freshman Sylvia Tsarnas (Lowellville, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney)

 

PAC Records & Milestones

Led by freshman Sylvia Tsarnas (fifth place) and sophomore Monica Curtis (sixth), Westminster took first place at the Penn State Behrend Twilight with 39 team points.
