The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 10 of the 2023 season.
 
PAC Hitter of the Week
Mally Kilbane • Grove City • Sophomore third base • Olmsted Falls, Ohio/Olmsted Falls
Kilbane hit .700 (14-for-20) with 13 runs scored in a 5-1 week for the Wolverines ... He had two triples, two doubles, drove in six runs, walked five times and reached twice via hit batsman ... Kilbane had a .778 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging mark for the week ... Kilbane went 5-for-5 with a triple, double and three runs scored Monday in Game Two against Thiel ... He bookended the week by going 4-for-4 with four walks and six runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Franciscan.

Allegheny junior Ryan Dougherty (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) went 8-for-18 (.444) with one double, one triple, one homer, eight runs scored, four RBIs and three stolen bases in a 3-1 week … Bethany senior Alec Berg (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) hit two home runs and knocked in five in the Bison’s win over Franciscan … Chatham junior Benny Dottle (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) broke the program’s single-season hit record in the doubleheader sweep over Franciscan and then went 5-for-5 with three runs scored in the Juniata victory … Franciscan sophomore David Ferroni (Mingo Junction, Ohio/Indian Creek) went 5-for-10 with seven RBIs in the Bethany doubleheader and added two hits and three RBIs in game one vs. Grove City … Geneva junior David Toruno (Menifee, Calif./Paloma Valley) batted .393 (11-28) last week with a double, triple, six runs, six RBIs and three stolen bases … Saint Vincent senior Jordan Sabol (Export, Pa./Penn-Trafford) batted .429 (6-14) with two home runs, three walks, six RBIs, three stolen bases and eight runs scored over the Bearcats' 3-1 week … Thiel senior Seth Johnson (Magnolia, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) went 7-for-22 (.318) in seven games and also recorded one RBI as well as two walks and a stolen base last week … W&J junior Nolan Lutz (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) compiled a .400 batting average with five runs scored, three RBI and three extra base hits and posted six hits during a doubleheader split at Westminster … Waynesburg junior Alec Engelmore (Shaler, Pa./Shaler) hit .429 in a doubleheader split against Grove City, going three-for-seven with an RBI and a run scored … Westminster junior Carter Chinn (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) hit .418 with six doubles, a triple, six RBIs and seven runs scored last week, highlighted by going 2-for-4 with two walks, a double and two runs scored in win over W&J.
   
PAC Pitcher of the Week
David Leslie • Grove City • Sophomore • Butler, Pa./Butler  
Leslie went 2-0 with an 0.64 earned run average last week in conference play ... He struck out 13 men and allowed 10 hits in 14 total innings … Leslie allowed one earned run and six hits while striking out seven in seven innings in the win over Thiel ... Leslie allowed only four hits and yielded two unearned runs while fanning six Saturday against Franciscan, as he is now 5-1 with a 1.24 ERA in six conference starts.

Sophomore Mark Schweickert (Glen Allen, Va./John Randolph Tucker) pitched Allegheny's first complete game of the 2023 season in a 12-1 win over Thiel, allowing one run on four hits while matching his career-high with nine strikeouts in seven innings … Chatham sophomore Dawson Morrow (Harmony, Pa./Seneca Valley) threw six shutout innings, scattering four hits and striking out six in a 10-0 win over Franciscan … Saint Vincent graduate student Michael Klingensmith (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) fired a complete-game, three-hit shutout while striking out seven and walking just three in 8-0 win over Allegheny … Thiel senior Travis Harvey (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) pitched 11 1/3 innings and struck out five in two games last week … Westminster junior Kolton Banfi (Harrisville, Pa./Franklin) recorded his second nine-inning complete game of the year in an 11-2 win over W&J, allowing just two runs with two walks and six strikeouts.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Josh Dezenzo • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman infielder • Alliance, Ohio/Marlington  
Dezenzo powered the Presidents to a doubleheader sweep Saturday at Thiel by totaling five hits, six RBIs and three runs scored in the sweep of the Tomcats … He went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs in game one and followed that with a home run and a double in game two with two more RBIs and a pair of runs scored, as he slugged 1.500 in his return to the line-up.

Allegheny freshman Dylan Fanelli (Berkeley, Calif./California) made one appearance out of the bullpen and closed a 17-3 win over Thiel by stranding the bases loaded and getting the only batter he faced to ground out … Chatham freshman Peter Tadic (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) had two hits and two RBIs in a game-two win over Franciscan and had two hits, including a homer, in the win at Juniata … Geneva freshman Kirk Bearjar (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills) batted 14-of-24 (.583) last week with seven doubles, eight runs scored and six RBIs … Grove City freshman Nick Sampson (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) hit .478 (11-for-23) with 10 runs scored last week, including a 4-for-4, four-run effort Saturday in the opener against Franciscan … Thiel freshman Colton Brightwell (Eighty Four, Pa./Bentworth) had two hits in game one against Grove City and then had a single, two walks and a stolen base in game one against W&J … Freshman Ethan Erhard (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) pitched Waynesburg to a win over Grove City in the Yellow Jackets' final PAC doubleheaderJosh of the season, allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk with six Ks over 7 1/3 innings of work … Westminster freshman Justin Brannagan (Gibsonia, Pa./Deer Lakes) had two hits, including a double, and scored a run against Hiram and his second-inning single was the first hit of his collegiate career.
