Week 6 PAC Honors (for games played March 20-26)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 6 of the 2023 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Lauren Petrarca • Allegheny • Sophomore attack • Simi Valley, Calif./Royal
Petrarca totaled 11 points (9g-2a) with six draw controls, four ground balls, and one caused turnover in two games last week … Had a hat trick with three ground balls and three draws against Ohio Wesleyan, followed by an eight-point performance (6g-2a) with three draws and one ground ball in a 22-10 PAC win over Thiel … Eight points tied a career-high for the second-year attacker, who has at least one goal in every game this year.

Chatham senior Selena Justus (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield) posted three goals and seven assists, as well as three ground balls, in a win over Bard Tuesday … Franciscan graduate student Grace Deegan (Akron, Ohio/Stow) scored hat tricks in both games last week for the Barons … Grove City senior Madison Nazigian (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) fired in four goals Wednesday at John Carroll, then shared team-high honors by scoring three times in a 12-6 win over Alfred … Thiel senior Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) scored 14 goals and had one assist, as well five draw controls, five caused turnovers and five ground balls, in a pair of games last week … W&J senior Amanda Effland (Frederick, Md./Frederick) tallied an eight-point effort with six goals and a pair of assists in a 19-7 rout at Pfeiffer … Waynesburg senior Eve O’Sullivan (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) scored four goals against Saint Vincent Wednesday and had five points with four goals and one assist in the Yellow Jackets’ 19-2 win over Spalding Saturday.
   
PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Amber Wartman • Grove City • Sophomore defender • Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron
Wartman compiled seven ground balls, five caused turnovers and four draw controls in a 1-1 week for the Wolverines … She scooped six ground balls and caused three turnovers in Wednesday’s game at John Carroll … Wartman then won three draw controls, forced a pair of turnovers, had one ground ball and assisted on a goal in Grove City’s 12-6 win over Alfred Saturday.

Allegheny senior Raina Semenick (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) scored her first collegiate goal on a free position shot and added a ground ball in the PAC win over Thiel … Bethany sophomore Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) had seven caused turnovers, five draw controls and four ground balls in two games last week … Thiel junior Mary Cassano (Fairview, Pa./McDowell) picked up eight ground balls and caused a turnover in two games for the Tomcats … Waynesburg junior Megan Wilson (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) caused five turnovers and scooped four ground balls in the win over Spalding … Westminster senior Emiley Kushner (Cecil, Pa./Canon-McMillan) finished with four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers, and also scored the game’s first goal in a 19-3 win over La Roche.
 
PAC Midfielder of the Week
Senna Perelman • Allegheny • Senior midfielder • Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights
Perelman led all Gators with 13 points, 10 goals, and three assists in a pair of games last week … Totaled three points (2g-1a) with two ground balls and one caused turnover at Ohio Wesleyan … Added eight goals and two assists for 10 points in a 22-10 win over Thiel in the 2023 PAC opener … The eight goals are a single-game career-high for Pereleman, who also won four draws, had three ground balls, and caused one turnover against the Tomcats.

Bethany senior Cassidy Mailloux (Bell River, Ontario/Ecole Secoundaire Catholic L'Essor) posted four goals, 10 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers in an 0-2 week … Chatham senior Bailey Donofrio (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) scored five goals, had 10 draw controls and scooped three ground balls in the win over Bard … Grove City sophomore Abby Roetering (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) recorded three goals and one assist in Alfred win, along with five ground balls and three caused turnovers … Saint Vincent senior Kaylee Bandow (York, Pa./York Catholic) posted three goals and three assists in PAC win over Waynesburg and then had six goals and two assists in win over Mt. Aloysius, as she became the 17th player in program history to surpass 100 career points … W&J senior Sarah Labovitz (Great Falls, Va./The Bullis School) notched her 100th career goal in W&J’s win over Pfeiffer, as well as four draw controls and two assists … Waynesburg senior Tori Meiklejohn (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) had 14 points in two games last week, including seven goals and one assist in a 19-2 victory over Spalding Saturday … Westminster senior Stephanie Cimini (Mars, Pa./Mars) totaled seven points (5g/2a) in the win over La Roche and surpassed 100 career ground balls and 100 career draw controls after totaling five GBs and nine draws in the win.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Carolina Walters • Saint Vincent • Freshman attack • Latrobe, Pa./Homeschooled
Walters repeats as Rookie of the Week after totaling 13 points on six goals and seven assists over the Bearcats' 2-1 week … In Wednesday’s win at Waynesburg, Walters tallied eight points on four goals and four assists, along with two draw controls and two ground balls … In the Mount Aloysius win, Walters had three points on one goal and two assists, before going for a goal and an assist on Sunday against Lycoming.

Allegheny freshman Kendall Cox (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) handed out her first collegiate assist and tied a season-high with three ground balls in the Thiel win … Chatham freshman Danielle MacConnell (Dayton, Ohio/Centerville) had one goal and one assist in the win over Bard … Grove City sophomore Mara Polczynski (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) fired in three goals, recorded two assists, caused two turnovers and picked up nine ground balls in the Alfred win … Waynesburg sophomore Sam Earnest (Honey Brook, Pa./Conestoga Christian) totaled two goals, one assist and four ground balls in the win over Spalding … Westminster freshman Emma Brazier (Northport, N.Y./Northport) poured in three goals and an assist in the win over La Roche.
