The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 3 of the 2023-24 season.
 
PAC Player of the Week
Luke Barker • Allegheny • Junior guard • New Castle, Pa./Struthers (Ohio)
Barker led Allegheny to a 2-0 week with wins over Bethany and Penn State Behrend … He scored a team-high 22.0 points per game and was second with 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, while also tying for the team lead with 1.5 steals per game … Barker shot .625 overall (15-24), .500 from 3-point range (5-10), and .818 from the foul line (9-11) … Aided by a season-high five three-pointers, Barker netted a career-high 34 points with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals in an 88-84 home win over Bethany … He then scored 10 points with a season-high eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal in a 73-67 win over previously undefeated Penn State Behrend.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Sawyer Butler • Franciscan • Freshman guard • Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area
Butler set a career-high with 30 points, including 22 in the second half, while shooting 50% from the field (11-22) in a 78-77 win over Grove City ... He also went 7-for-8 from the foul line (88%) ... In addition, Butler's eight steals in the game helped lead the late second-half run to win the game and set the Franciscan single-game steal record.

PAC Record & Milestones
Geneva graduate student Isaac Massie tied a school record with nine three-pointers and scored a career-high 39 points in a narrow loss to Pitt-Greensburg Saturday ... With their 90-70 win at Thiel on Tuesday, Saint Vincent improved to 5-0 on the season, their best start to a year since opening the 2003-04 campaign with six straight wins.
